Are you kidding me? She has AMAZING magic growth! She can potentially DWARF Terra and Celes in both spell power and casting speed

She is far from useless, in fact she is the games magic powerhouse

Are you kidding me? Most people who have a clue about FF6 always build up her magic, and most people HAVE to use her for Kefka's Tower, since Umaro isn't much help being uncontrollable and Locke is aquire so late on in WoR it's hard to get his stats trained as high as anyone else

bye the time that u get everyone to level 35+, it dousnt matter if she has the highest stats or anything, at lvl 35, i could hit 9999 without ultima weapon or illumnia, witch meant i didnt waste or use mp for most of the tower, hell u dont need 3 partys of 4 did it with 3 partys of 1, think before u speak... IMO (note IMO means in my opinion) umera is better then relm, but relm is better then setzer :|

Relm is the best CASTER

And the way Final Fantasy VI works, magic in general is far more effective than physical attacks (Offering not withstanding)

And Umaro is better than Relm? How is someone COMPLETELY uncontrollable and who's stats beyond HP can not be increased in ANY way be better than the character with the fastest magic growth and the abilities to... Y'know..... GET STRONGER

whats the point in having relm cast magic that costs magic, or having my party just attack for the same damage but less expensive. (0 mp is better then wasting 1 mp) i also dont have to wait for the animation all i have to c is a regular attack, 9999, end of battle that simple.

Umero: stats grow with lvls

Relm: i will adment, she is the best caster, but to my party, even with raised magic stats, she is not a physical attacker, therefore a waste of time.

The thing is.... In FInal Fantasy VI

Stats DO NOT grow with levels

Just HP and MP

Add to that physical attacks can only hit ONE enemy at a time

Magical attacks can blitz MULTIPLE enemies

As for speed, think about it, whats faster? Attacking 1 out of 5 enemies per turn for 9999 damage?

Or attacking all 5 at once for 9999 damage?

or use offering to hit all, or edgers autocrossbow (witch grows with strength)

Offering hits 4 random enemies, not all, meaning against 5 enemies, magic wins again

And autocrossbow's growth dwindles and dwindles, it falls far below even the basic attack damage, from there on you start using Flash, but that wears down too

By end game the only good tools are Drill and Chainsaw

And this isn't about abilities, it's Magic vs Fight

Or I could point out Sabin's Air Blade and Bum Rush out match any other ability and are actually MAGIC dependent for damage ^^

i know, yet i still do 9999 with autocrossbow :P i also will point out that flash is magical dependant (i have 128 strength with edgar, yet flash does about 900 damage...) and i know that most of sabins attacks are magical (ironic) ive never been a magic person, and hate to c people claim relm being superior, when at around lvl 60, all your magic users will do 9999, relm just gets there earlier, and its easier on an emulator to press and hold your fast forward button and the A button :P
