@hexenductionhour You know, when I first saw skins the only thing that came to mind is that it wasn't one of those pretentious shows in which they convey a message of your (our) utter stupidity and try to make us do better by soft words and inspirational messages that aren't inspirational at all, but that it was one of those frank, harsh, bitter fucked up shows that tell you "do this and watch...come on, try it and see how much you like it"

So yeah, it's a shitty show with fucking great music.

I don't think the show was preachy in any way. People smoke weed throughout the whole show, they often use drugs and rarely shows anything bad happening thanks to drugs. ( In fact the only overdose was delivered on purpose) it's a drama series most shitty things that happen are no ones fault

the band is Low, but searching them up yeilds the terrible Flo Rida and other crap. typing in the names of their songs helps though, so look up stuff like Point of Disgust, Breaker, When I Go Deaf, Two-Step, Over the Ocean, Words... that's a few.
