hahahaha... The mic stand looks like you live with scooby doo. Nice try tho. I like it. very funny lookin. But the booth creation was great. Well done.
Your cats tripped me out lol :) But your booth was truly AMAZING!! You have inspired me to make one of my own :) Thank You. Where did you get your foam from?
Wow man!! Love the way you made your studio come together. Listen this may be something uou've already explained, but how did you make the actual round reflection filter one is black (guest) and the other is yellow (main). Did you have to purchase those things?
im gonna have to start training my ears the poor way cause i don't have money for a real singing booth im about to copy your voice filter thanks for the idea
@MultiJt1234 Cats are cool. The more cats you have the more babes you attract. I have lots of cats and lots of gorgeous babes. And when the cats aren't around I have the babes to keep me from being lonely. Don't underestimate the coolness of cats.
how much that one i need tha,t but i dont know where to buy it... im planning to build a home studio but not a huge one, just for my hobbie i like to sing and a like to record my voice but i dont know how to start. pls can you tell me what do i need.wthat cost cheap.
you don't set the bar real high... so i doubt about the recording quality, one thing is being "poor" as you said, but dont get used to crappy stuff, because that's how you'll train your ear... in a crappy way!
now, a little tip, put those mics further away from the noisy pc fans and also the audio monitors away from the corners...
@TERRANCIO Thanks for the feedback. And you are TOTALLY right about training my ear the wrong way with crappy sound -- so true. I went ahead and moved the mic's away from the pc fans. thanks.
@crazyvideodood So, I'm a voice over artist. I've been doing it for nearly 2 years, and the FIRST thing that stuck out like a sore thumb to me is your nylon filter on your microphone. You got go for a steel filter. Preferably a Steadman brand. Secondly, the sound you wanna attempt to perfect should sound as isolated as possible. The biggest mistake novice recording artist make is going "cheap" Can't do that. Gotta pay for quality sound; in every aspect of your recording career.
that's a nice wee home setup you got there mate!! right now all I got is a Samson GTrack USB mic and GarageBand, but hopefully in the next couple of months I'll get Logic on the go and invest in a few more mics so I can record drums etc. And I'm totally gonna 'borrow' your homemade reflexion filter idea!!! good work
@ElDarkZ LOL, yup, xenyx 1204 and a keyrig 49. So, what do you think of the mixer? I love that little machine. Does a great job for what I use it for.
@crazyvideodood yeah... that thing makes your job easier and easier... + the compressor build in... ufff better!... looking your room... you have a little mess hahaaha... what jobs you do??? (musiclly)
@dimeclipent Can't remember. And can't tell what is written on them. I bought them at TheSource.Ca. They were cheap, around $30. But have a great sound.
thats no poor mans recording studio that i can tell took money and time to get to what you have.. be grateful. btw love the studio cool shit
