He he, the PC on the right looks like an Xbox Elite. My school uses these thin clients, they are cool cause they leave them out all night and in the morning they warm up the classes with their heat. They also run Linux ubuntu!
@STIYE101 Yup, We have about 25 of them and are ordering 60 more, for this August. They are awesome, currently we are running Natty Narwhal, but are upgrading to 10.04 Lucid Lynx. They also run pretty slick. problem is that all our accounts are on restricted, and have no video graphics.
@NiftyProductionz Snap! I'm sorry I got messed up! I meant we are running Jaunty Jackalope 9.04. This August we are upgrading to 10.04 Lucid Lynx. Thanks for pointing that out.
@Rolfke thin clients do not require a PC Blade to run... They can be used as stand-alone devices...However, they can also be employed to access virtual desktops or a remote PC Blade, but they are not requirements for thin clients to be functional. :)
I'm curious to know kind of companies would be using Wyse terminals and not blade servers? From what I understand most companies deploy these clients for users to access virtual Windows desktops.

@NiftyProductionz Natty Narwhal is the newest build of Ubuntu currently though, it's 11.04, so switching to Lucid Lynx would be downgrading.

And the Power Usage of the Blade PC? The Thin Client needs that to run properly...

So If I understand correctly the thin client was rounded up to .66 cents per month and the pc was 6.54 per month? Is that correct?
