@ntrudr800 the old bonnies certainly had their good traits, and i still think they look better than the new ones. however, having ridden a 71 for about fifteen years, the new one is technically so much better and i wouldn't want to go back to the overheating and power loss, oil leaking, slipping out of gear and vibration of the older ones.
Is your camera from the same year as the bike? :)

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe I read somewhere that the old Bonneville was faster and handled better than the new...
I prefer the old. It even looks better.
