  • Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe I read somewhere that the old Bonneville was faster and handled better than the new...

    I prefer the old. It even looks better.

  • @ntrudr800 the old bonnies certainly had their good traits, and i still think they look better than the new ones. however, having ridden a 71 for about fifteen years, the new one is technically so much better and i wouldn't want to go back to the overheating and power loss, oil leaking, slipping out of gear and vibration of the older ones.
