I can recall the first time that I have ever listened to My Immortal. I had been, if memory serves me right, in Grade 6 in a computer class. I believe the year was 2003. I was sitting at a computer playing a game, and the song began to play.

After hearing the beautiful, emotionally-driven vocal, I was completely diverted from the game, for the notes resonating through my ears were beautiful. Within minutes, I started to cry. This is one of the best Evanescence songs I have ever heard.
