  • The shame is, Ofra Haza had a great voice but this just saps all the power and majesty from a great song.

  • 12 лет назад!

  • Look below. Just Created Special (real honest nice not like above imo) Kaddish ! 12 year now

  • I usually don't give thumbs down, but this is... simply horrible.

  • this is bullshit, don't use the tag of led zeppelin to get more likes for god's sake

  • Kashmir with an Israeli/Yemenite sound. I first heard Ofra Haza on an album made in the early 1970s for EL-AL airlines called "Songs of Israel". And ive been a fan of hers ever since. G-d rest her soul.

  • Ofra did such an amazing job with this song. She did an amzing cover and her voice is so mezmerizing and soothing I love it <3 R.I.P. Ofra

  • @MrandMrsSodapop Check out her other version, it's even more beautiful!

  • Great Cover?....nah. Great song. average singer, basically sucks.

  • @red5llaw You did NOT just call OFRA HAZA an average singer. Go check out her slower songs (even the alternate version of this one), and get your ears checked too.

  • @rpvee Whatever. Her Voice is one of tens of thousands that sound the same.

THIS cover of Kashmir SUCKS. Big Time. Her voice might be okay for HER own songs or songs written for her - But Led Zep...Leave it alone Ofra.

People's voices are Instraments, some suit. some don't. This Track DOESN'T suit her Voice. I'm glad you like her but she does a shitty version of Kashmir. Period.

  • @red5llaw It's a matter of taste, I suppose. I personally think that this cover is great and does what a cover should: make the song fit the singer. But you can't deny that when in her natural Middle Eastern element her voice was one of the best ever. Listen to "Yerushalayim Shel Zahav", for example, that's true vocal power. You can't find tens of thousands of voices like that.

  • @red5llaw you shouldn't taunt karma son!! Let her rest in peace!!

  • @red5llaw ignorance is a blessing, isn't it? "Leave it alone Ofra" - omg...

  • Led Zeppelin and Ofra Haza-super!!!

  • Born Jewish in the wrong country this brings tears

  • @onablackrat yeah...i would cry too if i was born jewish...

  • How did they get that bass sound??

  • Ofra -Kashmir Gold!Super!

  • Not cool.........

  • All the power and feeling of the original but wit a beautiful female voice. A great cover!

  • That is no fake. It's a genuine cover. A good one too.

  • Odlična je !!! Awsome!

  • Грандиозный голос!

Жалко что так рано ушла из жизни....

  • @64beatnick

До Роберта Планта ей как до луны.

  • Бомба!!! Отличное исполнение!

  • its fake

  • @THESLOWDISCO Have proof? If not shut up!

  • @BBQFanNo1 cuz i know zep brok of in 1980 and ofra haza only started har career 1974

but she did an cover for the song not whit zep

  • @THESLOWDISCO You're correct in that she did not do the song with Zeppelin. However, this version of the song is not fake, it's from the "Mata Hari" single. It's simple mis-titled by the uploader as "Led Zeppelin Feat.".

  • @rpvee it's not just "mis-titled" - but a cheap trick to get viewers' attention - pathetic - tho the idea of a REmix (coz thats wot u did) is ok - the execution mediocre.

  • @EcoleaSchwerinMusik It's not a remix. This is an official version of the song by Ofra. She did two: the really slow, haunting one, and then this one.

  • L o v e -_-) א ה ב ה

  • great !!

  • OMG! She is so AMAZING!!!!!! I miss her =/

  • This is the version from Queen In Exhile I believe?

  • Mata Hari single

  • WHOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. I thought the only version of this from Ofra was the really slow, mezmerizing one! This is... WOW!!!!!

  • Is this based on Ofra's "other" version of Kashmir - 'B-side' of "Mata Hari" ?

The "not-other" version being the "Queen In Exile" album version which can be found elsewhere on YouTube and has a different dynamic.

  • Which version is the really slow, Middle Eastern-sounding one? And what's the third one?

  • There was a first version, backing the 'Mata Hari' single which was Ofra singing Kashmir as a 'straight' rendition which I have only heard before as demo on a download site.

Then the new arrangement version on the unpublished 'Queen in Exile' album.

Finally a slightly modified issue of the latter version published on 'Greatest Hits 2' CD3 along with almost all of Queen in Exile tracks.

    See YouTube [watch?v=Fu5Cgb6Yy4Y]

  • How is the one on Greatest Hits different from the one from Queen in Exile?

And where can I hear the first version?

  • Not by much.

First version is on the Mata Hari single if you can find one - try Ebay.- worldwide search.
