your ending was really sick. i can't play these type of songs on rock band but i can play them on real drums. the timing seems off for some reason plus i can't tap on my hi-hat cuz there's no pedal for it. but really great job.

Not always. When there's a part where it's mostly hi-hat with snare hits in between, they'll switch those pads around... even in some of Rock Band 2's on-disc songs (see Everlong, for example).

Because it goes two YELLOW then one BLUE. A normal chart would be Three YELLOW and then one Blue

But then it wouldn't be charted to what you hear. Listen to that part, and you hear one tom hit for each blue. If it were 3 yellows and 1 blue each time, it wouldn't make any sense.

it is.. it's just not as easy as it possibly could be, because 3 yellows 1 blue would mean you could RLRLRL all the way, but the real drummer probably double stroked..

Maybe some people just don't want how to play real instruments, we are gamers, not musicians...I play acoustic guitar, but I don't know how to play drums, and rock Band is the closest thing I'll get to playing the drums...maybe we (gamers) don't feel like playing real instruments...its just our choice...

well heres something awesome, I started rums from rock band. I played expert for a while, and then sat down at a real kit and played along with songs. from there it was just a matter of practicing. But rock band drums, on expert DO give you the basis you need for basic beats and playing. So even if you dont want to know the instrument, you could pay it after playing expert for awhile.

Which is easy to do if you're just listening to a song, but when you're actually playing the same song, it becomes much, much harder to do that steadily.

In the case of this song, there are many parts where the bass pedal is on every fourth 16th note, but another drum is being hit every third 16th. For example, the part starting at about 1:10, where the snare drum is hit every third note. It's easy if you ignore the pedal, but with the pedal, it's so much harder.

reason i made the comment was that i saw a video..it was either GH or rock band, not sure which and travis barker was talking about it and he said he asked the question 'if i closed my eyes and played one of my songs how its meant to be played would i get 100%?' and they said yes...must have been GH..but anyway that was the reason i made the comment, since that wouldn't work on this.

Had to have been GH:WT. That game's drumset is set up so that each pad/cymbal represents a particular drum/cymbal... snare is always red, toms are always blue/green, etc.

That's a matter of opinion. I don't want to start a GH vs. RB debate here... I'll just say that I prefer RB's simpler drumming setup, but I do find GH:WT's drums to be the most fun part of that game.

this song is a terrible song for drums in rock band. The real drums are fairly easy in my opinion but you have to crosshand it and the fact that the red is lower than the rest doesn't make it any easier. So considering that you did a very good job

The game frequently changes which pad does what. With only four pads to work with, such adjustments have to be made in many songs.
