Conway's early country music when he was young and hungry, were so much better when he was doing this type of hard country music rather than the later whipped cream fluff bullspit that Hollyville had him turning out. This is the good stuff.
I love Merle singing it as I am more familiar with his version,but I have just heard Conway Twitty's version today, and have to say I like it just as much as Merle Haggards version.
I remember listening to this when I was a little guy. Around 5 and 6 year's old.. Then again my Dad was a truck driver... lol,,, wish we could hear this again.....
he conway is a great man he will always be the best,i am 1of the lucky1 i seen him in real live,at big valley J insask,canada he was the last singer&the best,he was great eve thougth they had systen break down,he really was force2sing song after song with out abrake but he still was the best...
