This car is amazing. It has so much power it smokes 911 turbos and m5's. It weighs 2 tons and packs 800 lbs of torque. It's an engineering phenomenon. It's loud because thoose of us who own them like it that way. You know how fun it is when guy's mustang gt's and trans am's with ram air, and porche 911's and evo's, pull up next to me and laugh in my face when call them on to a race. Then wont even look at you when you smoke them so bad you got 10 car lengths. It's a true sleeper.

That's an S65. The W220 had a S63 in 2001, but sold in limited amount of numbers. I agree that should've kept everything stock, but how is the TechArt Magnum Cayenne any different. They are also uncomparable because they are in different classes.

ok you whiny little bitches. This Mercedes Benz in this year against a vette will whoop its ass. It doesn't matter if the vette can go 0-60 in 4.2. The vette is very sloppy when it comes to taking off. GM has never corrected the problem with it taking off cause with all of that horsepower going through the rear wheels, all it wants to do is peel out. Unlike the benz where the traction control plays a huge role, it has to. Otherwise you'll look sloppy like a vette or mustang.

A vetter doesn't explain anything. Corvette Z06 does, which does 60 in 3.6's which means it will be faster. I don't stick up for the corvette but its only real. The Corvette Z06 almost beat the SL65 AMG, which is lighter than the S65's. So in theory this S65 is slower than a Z06. I don't like about a base model corvette.
