The wedding is the highlight of those women's lives, eh? Well no kidding. They never get to experience education, graduation, meeting someone NORMALLY, being respected as an intellectual, having a job, etc. They are baby makers and that about it. Their wedding is the only day where they can be something special...

This is so sad to me. Intentionally keeping them in the dark about reality and ensuring that they never get educated. This seems like cruelty in a way and it breaks my heart.

Ok, I get it. He just wants to get laid. She's so inexperienced and doesn't have a lot of choices, because her parents don't *want* her to have any choices. Oh, sure, it's going to be thrilling and everything for her but then, she's going to be stuck in this life. I grew up in a community like this and watched it happen to my friends. They had no other choice. Physical touch was forbidden. they had no idea what they were getting into. He should have listened to Amy.

I can see why people think that. I just think that most guys don't care about the wedding, they just want to get to the after part. ;) lol. I hope you find a man who will bit every bit as interested in your wedding as you are. :)

For our 10th Anniversary my hubby we renewed our vows and we wrote our own and he wore a tux. The only two times I ever seen him in a suit is our wedding and our 10th anniversary. I know he did it for me. he rather wear his jeans & his Budweiser shirt. :)
