Concerning this particular choice of intro to this song, it was probably Roddy's choice or at the very least highly inspired by him, considering the subject of the song that they're referencing here. They're known for letting Roddy cleverly slip in innuendo pertaining to his sexuality; he is a huge part of this band's style, writing and sound. Mike ad-libbed during the beginning of this song in particular, "We Care a Lot" and the end of "Epic" almost always. He did it in Bungle as well.

@DarkoBrownstone I'm kinda surprised they haven't already, or rather that Rhino hasn't. There are so many redundant Faith No More compilations and 'best of's, with mostly the same tracks, at least a covers-themed one would be something different. To my knowledge there are at least ten studio-recorded covers they made when they were originally together and loads of soundboard quality live covers.

@vbeek2002 Seriously! FNM is a great band--one of the most influential around and a personal favorite--and since I live in the ATL right now, I would love it if they came here.

I doubt it will happen, though. It looks like they're doing mostly European cities and a couple of major US cities.

You really can't blame them: audiences in the US are notoriously douche-y, and European fans are always so appreciative.
