i just feel so sorry for elvis. imagine how different things would have been if gladys hadnt passed away so early. she was only 46. they died just days apart; gladys on 14th august and elvis on 16th august. i hope they are both in heaven now, loving each other like they did when gladys was still alive. rip elvis and gladys.

Elvis mom was a little over protective - but you cannot blame her. Elvis had a twin that died at birth. Can you imagine 2 Elvis Presley's!!! And - Elvis bought an old church - that was due to be destroyed - the church people bought another church - so Elvis rebuilt it an called it Graceland!!
the assembly of god church was responsible for elvis' demise. he grew up in the aog and wasn't allowed to sing in church bc the church deemed his movements were too racy. its funny how the church thought this yet w/in the aog church (i have been to several churches)the congregation will convulse on the floor and writhe around like some sort of fit or climax... yeah, that's better than elvis' movements to the beat and rhythm of the music!

If she hadn't died I think he wouldn't have died either. She was his life...his EVERTHING!!!! When she died, it was like his life ended.
