  • You want me to wait 10 ficking seconds to see weather my child is breathing! This is the worst video about cpr ever!

  • @MrDevinbates have you taken a first aid class?

  • standards change from time to time ppl. just took my cpr this month. and i was told that come next month protocol is changing as well!!! everything this lady did was fine because it followed her organisation's standards at that time

  • it's not ABC, it's CAB!

  • She's compressing too hard

  • El Paso's most affordable CPR classes. We offer BLS, Heart Saver, First Aid, AED, Shaken Baby & SIDS. Day or Evening classes available. Using the new AHA updated guidelines. Certified Instructors ! Thumb up so everyone can see this! Message me if you are interested.

  • You don't call 911 immediately if you are alone. You do 2 min. of CPR then dial 911.

  • St John's Ambulance recommend 1 minute of CPR before dialling emergency if alone.

000 (or 112 for mobiles) in Australia

    999 (or 112) in UK

    911 in USA

  • @shaggerb 033 or 112 in Georgia

  • she forgot to check for the brachial pulse after doing first recue breaths

  • It's not at all clear whether it's one puff or two puffs (at first she says 'one puff' before going on to say repeatedly 'two puffs')

  • @BrookHornblower She says "just a puff" meaning you don't give them your full breath of air--you could "pop" their lungs if you do. Small puffs of air, but yes two at a time. And yes checking for a pulse is also a good idea.

  • very informative..thanks

  • this is too fast

  • very clear & informative. thank you!

  • shouldn't you check for a pulse before chest compressions? if there was a pulse i would imagine you wouldn't need to perform chest compressions.

  • Part 1) I just became certified in Infant, Child and Adult CPR yesterday, so I can answer that question for you. If a baby is unconscious, there is the risk that the baby is chocking on something. IF you were not in the room when baby stopped breathing, you weren't there to see their face (if chocking) most times it's caused by chocking. times in 10 secs if it's an adult)

  • Part 2) They have 45 sec until they stop breathing, which means oxygen is not Circulating.. as in C of the ABC's. CPR is you breathing and pumping the heart for them. Without breathing, your heart will eventually stop, therefore you become that baby's heart. Always do CPR for 2 min, re-aces the situation and if baby is still not breathing you would call 911 now (if you were alone)

  • Part 3) If you weren't alone, you'd have someone else call 911 the moment you did your 10 sec. evaluation to see if baby was breathing. (baby should breath 3 times in 10 secs max to be fine.. 2 in 10 secs in adults) and also.. DO NOT rely on chest movements. The baby's brain can be telling the baby to try to breath even if it's passage way is blocked. RELY only on FEEL and HEAR.

  • This is wrong

  • omg thank you sooooooo much my son is coming home from the hospital tomorrow and i have to perform cpr on a mannequin before so they see i know what to do in case.. but the video they show was not helpful and it was way longer for nothing

  • yes thank you

  • Thanks so much!!!

  • thanks:)

  • tm taking a cpr class...thanks!!!!!!!!!

  • Over nose AND mouth?

Thats strange. Did she really say that? o_0

  • Yea, because it seals the airway of the baby. If you gave air to a baby by just mouth to mouth, it would come out of the nose. The same thing happens with adults. That's why pros use a pocket mask that acts as a sealer and protection.

  • thanx fo much for the information. I hope it will come in handy in the future.

  • This is a wonderful informative video. Thank you so much for posting this online for parents and others needing to learn infant CPR!
