Someone taping a murder doesn't make it a Snuff film.
Snuff films have at least the most basic makings of a regular film, like a Set, Actors, and lighting. And most importantly, a Snuff film is made expressively to profit from it.
Unstaged murders on film lack this characteristic.

@Plumyplum yeah their is rumours saying that they was going to sell it to the russian mafia and make dvd's, but why make a film with a mobile phone which shows a guy getting murdered violently and it shows the murderer's faces,, if the footage did get released onto dvd and got into the russian police or kgb hands they would have been easily caught,,
they didnt hide their faces was due to it was for their own personal use and it was only by chance they got arrested

@IJFlores This is what I think. Murder has been recorded on film before. That's not a snuff film. A snuff film is an actual movie. I also don't like to think of them (if they are real) as pornography. Movies are art and just because someone dies doesn't mean that's not still true.

Snuff films obviously do exist. Take the 'crush' videos, for example. They fit the same definition of a snuff film, except with animals. It's not a leap to understand that films like that exist which involve humans. Murderous sexual psychopaths are known to 'start small' with animals, and then 'work their way up' to human beings. They get bored easily, you see. Torturing a dog or a cat to death will only entertain them for so long.

There is a video on m90.org that was banned because it was guys gang banging a girl and setting her on fire and then screwing her organs including her heart. I never saw it but it is a snuff. They are real but impossible to put up. CIA will destroy your website if snuff videos are allowed on it.

@AfroBabyJesus Yeah, right. First of all, if you have a real snuff film, you're not going to be putting it on a website for just anyone to see. The point of snuff films is to make money off of them. So they're ordered by someone with a lot of cash to throw around, or they're sold in underground rings where you have to know certain people in order to get in on it. They're NOT cheap.
There's been some possible snuff films found on p2p networks, but who knows if those are real.
