I wait for older deer were i hunt but theres nothing wrong with shooting deer that your going to eat any deer with a bow is a trophy in my book!Whackem and stackem!
@sunview ...sorry i suppose my comment could have been more constructive. hows this - next time you feel like killing a baby, at least make it a doe so the rest of us might have a chance to harvest a nice buck. and as for my video games...i do have fun. i also have fun killing quality game animals...that are mature enough to harvest. next season try to exercise some self control
@grenneth A big part of why I hunt is because I love eating venison.I look 4 quality shot opportunities that increase the odds of humane kills, regardless of antler size.I kill does, just didnt get any on film lately.I'm amazed at how often hunters talk shit about one another on the internet.Sometimes its deserved, but not this time.I broke no laws & made humane kills on legal animals.Simple as that.Inflammatory comments as opposed to constructive criticism does more harm than good to our sport.
you said your second deer went about 200 to 250 correct? where was your shot placement?? i have never had to track more then 80 yrds so i was just wondering where you hit it
Do you have a tri-pod? how do u film your own hunts? this is something i was going to try to do this year. This is good. Nice little bucks. Great job!
@lukaslyall I have a camera arm that straps to the tree. It's made by Lone Wolf. You can find it on their website. Nice, steady set up. Good hunting to you!
Looks like some clean kills there...good job. It always kills me to hear of folks taking "30-40" yard shots while bow hunting. Not necessary. Most of my deer (couple nice bucks, bunch of does) have been at 15 yards or less.
If you're a decent bowhunter, the deer will be close.
@tubewatcher1252 I use a Sony HDR-HC1 camera with a wide angle lens and a camera arm that mounts to the tree (made by Lone Wolf). A good camera arm is a must for steady shots. Good hunting to you!
phew, look, i know absolutely nothing bout hunting & only came across this randomly. i was shocked at first coz lets face it, it does seem kinda brutal, but ye i guess as long as the meat isn't wasted everything's fine. I imagine that would make a lovely roast! in my country (Malta - Europe) hunters use shotguns to kill tiny birds, they don't eat them coz they're tiny & I think that's just stupid & sadistic, killing just for sport & then not eating it. I'd love to try eating venison one day. :D
@Sindagon2 Yes, we butcher the animals then freeze the meat (called venison). Venison is hormone & pesticide-free and contains a lot of protein and little fat. Overall it's a very healthy meat, much healthier than most of the ground beef you would buy at your local supermarket. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@TheDeerhunter81 Thanks for the compliments. I'm getting pumped for October too. College football and bowhunting, best time of the year if you ask me! Thanks for watching and good hunting to you.
I have 2 agree it is the best time of year! I just bought the matthews Z7 for oct and practice alot i cant wait to get those sight pins on a michigan brute!! Hope bow season gets here fast cause my release finger is itching LOL good hunting 2 you and hope 2 see your sucess videos up from this year
WHy do you kill such tiny buck's dude, did you ever think of letting it pass by and allowing it to get older. People like you are the reason it's so hard to actually kill a huge buck in Michigan. Maybe you should try and take down the doe population...... DIP SHIT
@Vy10n1s You don't even know me or where I hunt. You assume (incorrectly) that the buck:doe ratio is skewed on the property I hunt. It is not. I see FAR more bucks than does on that property every year and pass shots on bucks almost every time I hunt there. I look for perfect shot opportunities to maximize my chance of a humane kill.
I should be spending my energy defending our right to hunt. Instead I'm spending it arguing with a fellow hunter. Sad and pathetic.
i thought i herd my 18 wheeler go by lol i like hitting them with my semi only thing suck i cant eat them after they go under the truck i live in irons mi i bow hunt up thier nice deer next time when you have a deer like that walking wistle at him 9 out of 10 they will stop i done it a few time when i bow hunt it most time works good video
i have a 160-170 classs buck that lives back in the woods by my house. im trying to save up some money to get a tree camera holder to film my self bow hunt him.

Thanks for the comment. I hear you about the big boys over that way. I've seen a couple nice ones but really have a hard time holding back. I'm working on it, one buck at a time I guess. Good luck out there.
Very nice bucks! This is my 3rd year of bow hunting in Michigan and even though i've had bad luck, seeing your video will keep me going before bow ends and riffle begins.
like it.. looks like MI bucks... scared a 6 point away a couple days ago and same thing happened to me with the first buck tonight.. same deer haha. .good luck. hope i get better luck!!
Yes, unfortunately I was. IT sucks because it's the best early season spot that I've found on that property. Definitely not a relaxing hunt with all the traffic noise. Good luck out there.
hey traffic or no traffic you got to go where the deer are right... i have a few spots where i got to deal with the same obnoxiousness but... it usually pays off in the end. Good job brother best of luck in the future.
Nice Vid! i saw that you were Hunting in Ingham County, i live in Ingham and was wondering where are you hunting at??? cuz i hunt all the way in Barry County
you drive along way to go hunting. barry county has a shit load of deer. i hunt on the kent-barry county line. there are deer everywhere. you just don't see deer in the u.p. like you do in the southern lower.
No, he did a big loop and ended up behind me, might not have been 250 yards, I didn't pace it off. Double-lung pass through too so I was surprised he went more than a hundred yards.
Good job, I know how hard it is to video a hunt. We started this year, check us out if you have a chance.
