I'm using an AMD Phenom x4 9500 2.2ghz, 3GB Ram, and a 4850, but this game sometimes dips as low as 15fps for a few seconds. Any ideas why? HL2 never goes below 60.

Medion Akoya P55005 (MD 20120) 23,6" 1920 x 1080 flatscreen (1080p)

and Half-Life 1 runs at about 60FPS (FRAPS recording, WTF!)

I don't think HL Source is a big problem for PCs today. And I can't really check the fps I got there anymore I recently got a new monitor (24" one, 2" more than the screen I had while recording this...)

ah, I was confused, as the version of the video I uploaded before this one (had no HD) had one single comment saying how many FPS I got...

I only added that to the description as then I can now copy&paste the text when making a new vid.

as for making a new one, I don't know when and if I'll make another one. I generally don't plan those things... I recently thought of making a Left4Dead or Portal gameplay video, but I'm not sure if I'll make one.
