Haven't bought the 300 yet ... though read tons about that WING issue. Also saw lots of folks who have flown it with the odd shape, no issues. I have (4) PZ birds and all mine have been awesome, great flyers, good looking, very tough. Sorry, but I love them, especially for a newer person to the hobby, u can't beat the price point. I am thinking hard bout the Stinson, looks like a nice flyer and something a bit different ... just my 2 cents ... everyone has their own opinion for sure!
I have to say and don't rub me wrong, but this plane looks kinda boring...I mean really. A beginner would grow out of that in a heartbeat. Yes it is a GREAT scale looking plane, but I would take a trojan over that any day. Catch my drift? And I see how it could be a step up from the cub or a plane like that, but still challenge yourself and great something a little better.
A nice step up from the HZ Super Cub without having to upgrade and just the plane I was looking for as a second plane. I have pre ordered the PNP version and was advised today that it will be available in a few days.
Nice to see them come out with something more traditional instead of just another Warbird. Floats for it would be nice as I know a great pond that would be perfect.
@robbiethehood PROBLEM? AYKM? VERY shoddy workanmanship, and a "no fault of mine" attitude by Horizon when serious defects are exposed (Extra 300)and brought out in the open by several flyers who were blatenly dismissed with ridiculous feeble excuses . NO PKZ FOR ME!
@dessertjeff Thanks dessertjeff-I just flew my new PNP Efilte Mini Pulse and am astonished at the beautiful workanmanship-and it's built with conventional construction-everything fits perfectly, and the monocoat covering is exceptional! Far superior to anything I've seen from PKZ to date, and at less cost.
@ferdorski I have a Mini Pulse also and love it! So much that I might get the larger Pulse 25e, Stick and balsa will always be better than foam but they have their place, I have an E-Flite Apprentice that's foam and it's great. I had a Pkz Corsair and liked it but wasn't pitch stable at lower speeds. I should'nt bash Pkz, but along with Horizon they made me angry by lying about the reversed wings on the Extra 300 to save $ and came up with the CG nonsense instead of replacing defective wings.
@dessertjeff You sound like one of those crybabies that blames everything but their poor flying skills for their woes. "The receiver cut out on me"... "The aileron servos stopped working"... "The ESC cut out"... sob sob. I've watched a few of these types crash and it was obvious the fault was theirs but out came these same crybaby comments. Go buy a more expensive plane and crash that you moron.

Made due to popular demand !!!!! NOT.........ok its not bad but a nice brushless Spitfire with a 30-40 amp ESC in it would have been a winner !!!!
Come on I ask you a Stinson ???? never gonna set the world alight is it ? or your passion for great planes !!!
