His name is actually Morris Dollison aka Cash McCall. He is living in memphis now, and can still jam at 68. Would you belive he is only getting royalties for maybe 70 out of the 350 plus songs he has wrote. He has been fighting for years over his music.

Maurice Dollison is a legend! The man is just as intense as Tyrone Davis, Little Milton,Otis Clay, Johnny Sayles and Harold Burrage. Why no one has issued an anthology of this man's early recordings is beyond my reasoning. Great post and video and stellar as always from you JC!

right! i've seen credits with both maurice and morris dollison. hopefully one day he will rectify the situation. lol!
