  • Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, thank you for your dharma teaching and your compassion present to all of us. OM MANI PAME HUNG.

  • Rinpoche, thank vey much ..............for the light

    Tsem Tulku Rinpoche

  • The stuff about various gods being best for specific spiritual condition is quite 'curious' to me coming from the Christian tradition where everone gets the same Guru - God through Jesus Christ: JC left lots of teachings and then we just all work on those with varying degrees of success. There is nothing about how it depends what type of person one starts with, but which teachings will be the most helpful probably varies with the personality & issues started with or phase of life conditions.

  • loving all the videos THANK YOU!

  • Virtuosic ... Incredibly skilful ...

  • @phuntsokdolma Rinpoche as a blog too that he updates frequently. He has quite a lot of books published as well.

  • Thank you for offering your teaching here so I, like so many others, without having met you in person can benefit from your wisdom and kindness.

    blog (dot) tsemtulku (dot) com

  • I need to get in contact with Rinpoche. Does he have an email which he checks or will he be too busy for this?

Thanks for sharing to build awareness and knowledge <3

  • Hello, to those who like this video, please go read the lovely blog of H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche. The link is blog(dot)tsemtulku(dot)com

  • I would like to learn how to recite the medicine Buddha mantra for my close one,can u guide me?

  • Transformation comes not from reciting a mantra but through contemplation, actualization and purification practices that may include mantras. Mantras alone can't transform us.

  • Mantras are the embodiment of that particular Buddha's enlightenment in the form of sound. There are mantras that we recite using our mouth and there are mantras that are recited using visualisation and movement of our psychic winds in our body.

  • how did u upload such a long video??

  • I think the person who uploaded the videos have a director status so they can upload any length of videos.

  • To purify the karma of getting infected by H1N1, do recite the mantra of Lhoma Gyoma or Pita Parnasavari. The mantra is Om Pishatse Parnasavari Hri Hum Phat Soha.

  • For those in dire need and those who are going through difficulties in life should recite Setrap's mantra and take refuge from the heart with Lord Setrap who is by nature Amitabha Buddha. The mantra is Om Maha Yakcha Tsa Soha

  • There is a specific mantra to plant Buddha's blessings onto the dead animal's flesh that we are about to partake. That mantra is Om Abira Te Zara Soha.

  • Hi,

    Thank you

    Where did you find this?

Have not been able to find reference to this mantra.

  • The first mantra that HE Tsem Tulku RInpoche was Om Mani Padme Hum and it was taught by his eminence's grand mother many years ago. He remembers this fondly until today.

  • When we make offerings of water, food, flowers, incense or any other offerings, we should consecrate our offerings with the mantra Om Ah Hum, three times. Consecration of offerings avoid the karma of getting sleepy and distracted during Dharma sessions.

  • Guys and girls: Special mantra to create the cause for H E Tsem Tulku Rinpoche's long life as given by his Lama is Om Ah Guru Kirti Daza Shashen Dara Kyandi Siddhi Hung Hung!

  • Mantras are the enlightened beings in the form of sound and we recite them to invoke their blessings to transform our mind.

  • I love the story of the mad monk. Don't you guys just love it when Rinpoche tells a story to illustrate a point?

  • I didn't know that H.H Panchen Lama is emanation of Buddha Amitabha. Thank you rinpoche to teaching us on Mantra. I love this video.

  • Some mantras that HE Tsem Tulku Rinpoche recommends are:-

    1. Lama Tsongkhapa's name mantra (freedom from depression, memory, creativity, insights and clearing inner obstacles)

Om Ah Guru Benzadhara Sumati Kirti Siddhi Hung Hung

    2. Green Tara (fulfillment of wishes, averting fear and furthering our Dharma work)

    Om Tare Tuttare Ture Soha

    3. Setrap (clearing inner and outer obstacles)

    Om Maha Yacha Tsa Soha

    4. White Umbrella (Protection from spirits & Legal cases)

Om Sita Ta Pa Trey Hum Phet

  • For some people the best mantra to recite would be "I am sorry" and mean it and not justify to the cows come home!

  • yap7128: I believe you are referring to the literal meaning of the Tibetan word for mantra.

  • hes totally wrong on his comments on animals.. a cops dog will lay down there life for there master. can you do that/

  • Unityspirit50: Well, of course anybody could as well. We have heard so many in history. That is nothing special. But can the dog meditate, can the dog transform his mind and can the dog benefit others instead of just his master, can the dog teach the Dharma to liberate others?

  • Unityspirit50: Of course we can. So many people throughout history have done that. It is not anything special. But can a dog study the Dharma? Can it transform it's mind? Can it benefit others more than just laying his life for his master? Can it teach the Dharma?

  • the sound could be louder

  • are these like a spell or something./ what makes them so special. i can so blah blah blah and does it matter what i say over and over?

  • You should listen to the teaching carefully again to get this answer and you will realize it is not mindless recitation.

  • well a human being made up the words to begin with. if i lived 5000 years ago and said chant the chew chew ca chew chew you would be doing that and saying it was sacred.

  • Unityspirit50: It is no ordinary human that can imbue mere words with power. It takes a special person. Do listen to teaching from the beginning to end and you will understand better.

  • Previously i thought reciting a mantras is just for some sort of meditation, now i know the actual used of it, after we chant a certain mala of mantra we can blow on to the animal, person who are sick, person who passed away and etc....Good way to give blessing...Thank you Rinpoche for the message.......

  • One of my many favourite videos. How kind of His Eminence to give us so much knowledge without which practice would have been so much more difficult.

  • This is one of the most important dharma talks in my life! It gave me a little idea about the vastness of the time and made me to think about the seeds of my deeds and to ask myself "What is faith?"

    Thank you SO MUCH Rinpoche!

  • wow... hey may know where to find the potrait behind Tsem? i would be happy if i can know what to type on google to find it...

  • The main image is Lama Tsongkhapa that is taken from one of the five visions of Lama Tsongkhapa as seen by his student Kedrub Je after his parinirvana.

  • is there a transcript of this available?

  • namaste

I'm new to meditation and discovered the mantra Om Mani Padme Hum, it had a powerful effect on me but I'm finding very different translations for it. Could you please tell me what it means?

    Thank you

  • My parent taught me to recite Kuan Yin heart mantra since im very young, but never explain to me in detail why the recitation is good for me. With Rinpoche's very clear and easy to understand explanation, now im glad and appreciate my parent's love and kindness for me, and of course Tsem Rinpoche's kindness and tireless efforts in explaining to all of us. Im going to learn more mantras from now onwards!

  • i wish i could remember my body was a hotel.

  • that's something that everyone tends to forget. That is where death meditation kicks in. What happens to your body when it gets lowered underneath 6 feet under? what would really matter then? your manicure? about who has offended you or hurt you? When we do death meditation, we will see things differently. video here: watch?v=1Tz-ejvRSRI

  • hey can i watch the vid 2?i rlly wan to noe wat it is:D

  • is there any way to speed it up so it doesn't take 3 countless great eons?

  • there is and it is by following your Guru's instructions as he will give specific ways on how to counter the problems that you have the most, which speeds up the whole process of enlightenment. This path could be the hardest path you ever walked, however. kecharahouse(dot)com

  • heavy reading for a 9yr old, oh my.

  • previously, I thought that mantras were just words repeated again and again to gain concentration. Little did I know that they affect my wind channels (chi) and give direct benefit to my mind, making it sharper and clearer the more I recite it. I will recite more mantras from now on!! neonlama(dot)com

  • thank you for explaining the benefits of not lying, which brings about speech that can convince people.

  • i think that a day and a life like that would be really great. but i think i am very greedy even for points.

  • Do you think anyone could be perfect for 1 day? I mean, besides you Rinpoche. If you do one thing right all day do you get points?

  • yet another well needed explaination on what mantras are. So many people have been asking so much questions about mantras and there is just too little information around about what mantras really are. This is really informative.

  • I am so entertained while absorbing this wisdom! I've never come accross this Rinpoche before. Fabulous!!! I laughed and learned the whole way!

Thank you Tsem Tulku Rinpoche. May all be free and free others immediately, and may it be fun!

  • freeing yourself can be fun too...so try to promote this video to your friends so that you can help them on their way too. Try to check out his other videos :)

  • Something so profound, so deep, with vast corpus of commentaries written by masters of all lineages, yet Tsem Rinpoche brings it down to earth for us. Brings it to our level of easy understanding. He takes the mystical out of mantras yet leaves us entranced with knowledge to pursue it further. Mantras are such a big part of Tibetan form of Buddhism, this video teachings helps us understand it so much more. Thank you Rinpoche and students of Rinpoche for putting this up.

  • Yes, yet another great session delivered. Thank you, Tsem Tulku. I'm sure all beings will benefit from the practice of mind transformation and connect with compassion!

  • omg, I've never received teachings WITH SO MUCH DEPTH about mantras before... all this time, I've just been chanting away with no knowledge of the deep significance. Thank you Tsem Rinpoche for this detailed explanation - it makes reciting mantras so much more meaningful now

  • How do you pronounce the following Sanskrit single word mantra's : SHYAMA, SHIRIRAM, and AYINGA ?

    Thank you

    Namaste

  • a genius= a person with complex integlligence, a person with a distinguish ability.

  • I think he speaks already like a Buddha, a very modern Buddha, "made" for the present time, for the present human beings. I LOVE HIS SPEECH! :)

  • Well I don't think we will ever hear him saying he is gay. But without a doubt I think there will be a lot more speculation about this, no matter what he says his sexual orientation is, if his popularity continues to grow. But from what I understand he is a monk (although he doesn't wear the robes- which I don't really understand), and who really cares if he is gay or straight?

  • Rinpoche, thank you so very much for your teachings ! I am very fortunate to have met you in this lifetime.

    Thank you.

  • Thank you for this. Nice to know that being gay doesn't hinder the path to enlightenment. You're an inspiration to gay seekers, since you are too.

  • I'm sorry but he's straight, but he does have some homosexual students.

  • Your words are so POTENT, Rinpoché, they actually take shape in my life...

i watch in awe the changes in my life, And it's not hard work... more like surfing on the wave and seeing it happen

It doesn't necessarily happen with all great Masters.

It has happened once or twice, and it happens with You.

    THANK YOU again...

  • But then what would happen if you do these things non-stop everyday? What if the whole world were like this?

  • Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, you're cool. I e-mailed this to myself so that I can hear it over and over again. You have a fantastic sense of humor, and I learn something new every time I hear this. Thanks :)

  • Very helpful, very beneficial. Great teaching. More please? :D

  • No, I disagree. Not all animals are selfish!!! Some are pure.

  • And nobody should put anyone down. But I question everyone! Including the clairvoyant gurus that are 80 years old. I have done that before and it helped her.

  • For some unknown resons, I found peace, harmony, and happiness from listening dharma from Tsem Tulku Rinpoche. Thank you, I love your Dharma Talks.
