  • pause at 2:16 this looks like the perfect position to spin around for a knee bar on your opponents left leg or you can look for the darce that he showed put i like to attack the legs because people seem to train less in leg locks or even at some schools they dont allow it in live rolling so in competition people are less experienced and fluent with leg attacks but whatever feels best go for it.

  • I train with TEAM NOGUEIRA , needless to say the competition is tough ! We have tremendous instructors and training partners but the videos you've posted have also helped me take my to another level !!!! THANX FOR ALL THE GREAT TIPS !!!

  • @Mr76DRAGON Thanks for the kind words. I appreciate your feedback and hope you are enjoying the site.

  • WOW thanks for the tip!

  • Very nice. I must practice that.

  • love the details, good stuff

  • looks almost like deep half

  • I hit this move last Friday and my buddy got it on me tonight! Thanks...

  • I'm 37 years old and just started training again. I just wanted to say, your videos are great. You're actually a helluva coach. Thanks.

  • I would like to thank you for tall of your fantastic videos.

your videos have helped me set up, land and finish lots of d'arce chokes.

What youve done with these videos is so full of true budo spirit. MUCH RESPECT.

  • @Badmolar Thanks for your kind words. Please register a free account at the site!!!

  • Thanks for the post. I've been wanting some different sweeps. I'm gonna try this out on monday.

  • pushing the arm across stops him from basing out. i do something similar from a lockdown position, but this is pretty sweet, thanks for the post.

  • A Lot of your stuff is pretty legit. This move however I see too many causes for concern. For instance, removing your shoulder from underneath the leg is pretty much starting a series of passes should your opponet know the passes to the classic x-guard. Another is anyone with any grappling experience would not keep there shoulder down through the sweep. I like this sweep, but to the darce I just believe is unlikely. You would have to set up the darce after the fact. But other than that great vid

  • Your concern is legitimate. This is a very advanced sweep combination and often times does not work out all the way through the submission (as mentioned repeatedly in the video). However- not every armbar setup works out 100% of the time either, yet that doesn't mean it isn't worth training. If they drop the knee go to the pendulum sweep. Nothing is unstoppable and everything has a counter. Marcelo Garcia even teaches this sweep, so I assure you, it works. Thanks for watching the vids.

  • And what if the opponent DON'T PLACES his hands on the floor so you can push one arm away... .What if he stands straight up and don t bend forwards when you get the X-guard?????

  • Then you go into any of the other sweeps that don't rely on their hands being on the ground. He's actually MUCH easier to sweep that way. Check out the X-Guard package that we have in the video description.

  • Ok man, thank you.I thought so that he is much easier to sweep then. But of course there is always a counter on a counter... .But keep doing what you doing because you do it very good man.... ,everything is good, the footage, the explaining.Thx.

  • I am a beginner at Grappling, mainly just with friends. I have never taken any sort or martial arts or wrestling courses, but i found that i have out-matched a few "more experienced" friends just by watching your vids. Easy to learn from, thanks.

  • Just out of curiosity who did you train under?

  • Gary Brown and George Allen in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Check out the About Us page at the site for more information. Thanks for watching.

  • I love using the X GUARD...And one of my favorite chokes is the darce...What an awesome combination, thanks alot for the upload ;) Ima use this in Training for sure.

    -Much love from Naledge & ~DIESEL BJJ~

  • Glad you like it. Make sure to get the reps in with training before you try it live. You really have to control the opponent the entire way. Enjoy it!
