I think you have misunderstood. I am not reffering to the Shia point of view as I mentioned before. Some people don't 'abuse' Yazeed but they don't revere him unlike you, which is nearly all the scholars of Sunnah and Jama'ah. Silence is the best answer. That is the way of our scholars, but if you want to shower praises of his greatness, you do that. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.
We don't want to keep silent as long as the truth is concerned. Yazid (r.a) is a tabeen. their differences of opion about the leadership will have to judge by Allah in the hereafter, Allah's knows best... But CURSING AND ACCUSING SAHABA'S, TABEEN and THE WIFE OF THE PROPHET is another thing. CURSING the family and closest Companions/Friends of the Prophet is a GREAT SIN!
Not everyone who saw a Sahabi is a Tabi' because then Hajjaj would be a Tabi'. Let me make this clear to you people: There are people fom SUNNI Islam who dislike Yazid and they have their proofs just as you have your proofs on his absolute geatness. Actually those Sunnis have studied Islam all their lives and know Islamic History inside out. So, don't make assumptions. Those Sunnis include Allamah Jawzi, Qadhi Abu Ya'alah, Allamah Taftani and Allamah Suyuti. These people did not like Yazid and you've got to respect their viewpoint.

I would just like to point out that it's not just Shias who despise Yazeed. Its people of sunnah and jama'ah aswell such as myself. zakir naik alhamdulillah is a blessed man, if any of you thinks he is better than him, i would love to see you on a stage like him let alone chalenge him or his intelligence. many people have reverted to a monothiestic islam by the Grace of Allah at his lectures and after them also. However he is NOT imflammible he makes mistakes and may have r.e this issue, but he doesnt know and you dont also. It names Yazeed(rh) the "killer" on their banner. In Islam the "killer" is proven by two witnesses with no conflicting testimonies with each other and anyone else.
QUESTION: What are the names of the Two Witnesses who saw Yazeed(rh) "Kill" Hussain(ra) and what is there testimony?
Also did you know that accusing without witnesses is a criminal offence in Islam.

That's why Islamic scholars loses their dignity day by day. They impose their point's on others like there is no one having better knowledge then him like the person in the news conference. He should come to the point straight forward, else he talked about what zakir naik did in his lectures, about his organization etc. I know only 1 thing, I never see or heard about this scholar before But I saw dr. zakir naik lectures where thousand of people come and listen to him carefully.

Also, remember that only Allah knows the full truth, it is Allah who will judge us in the day of judgement, not Dr Zakir, not the men in this video, and certainly not you and me. So rather than accuse and curse, it is better for you to ask Allah to forgive the sins of all muslims. That is Islam, that is the teaching of the prophet (SAW).

This is just another example of why muslims are in the condition we are in. Wasting time arguing over an event that no one today witnessed first hand. How does debating if Yazeed was evil or not improve our deen?
We muslims should obtain our guidance from the quran and the example of the prophet (SAW), lets achieve 100% compliance in that first.. Do you think that Ali (RA) and his family would rather we spend time arguing over this or helping oppressed muslims? Wake up my brothers and sisters!

Well my belief is that to give gallian just on basis of confusion is not fair. My only question to you is that will Allah ask you on Qyamah if you hated Yazeed (MABPWH)or Not?
Other thing to note is that every one agrees on one thing and that is Sunni and shia hate the killer of Beloved grandsons of Mohammad (PBUH). But who the killer is we have to do research. It is not clear....confusion and confusion. Curse on who killed grandsons of Mohammad (PBUH).!!!!

Ibn Kathir reported on Allama Abul-Khair Qazwaini ,another Islamic Scholar,that;
" "After he left Qazwain he went to Baghdad where he became a teacher in Madrassa Nizamia and he would admonish and deliver lectures to the people. So on the day of Ashurah he sat on the minbar to admonish the people, it was said to him to curse Yazid bin Muawiyah. He replied, "He was but an Imam Mujtahid."

I think you have misunderstood. I am not reffering to the Shia point of view as I mentioned before. Some people don't 'abuse' Yazeed but they don't revere him unlike you, which is nearly all the scholars of Sunnah and Jama'ah. Silence is the best answer. That is the way of our scholars, but if you want to shower praises of his greatness, you do that. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

We don't want to keep silent as long as the truth is concerned. Yazid (r.a) is a tabeen. their differences of opion about the leadership will have to judge by Allah in the hereafter, Allah's knows best... But CURSING AND ACCUSING SAHABA'S, TABEEN and THE WIFE OF THE PROPHET is another thing. CURSING the family and closest Companions/Friends of the Prophet is a GREAT SIN!

Let me make this clear to you people: There are people fom SUNNI Islam who dislike Yazid and they have their proofs just as you have your proofs on his absolute geatness. You have to be tolerantd of their viewpoint as they are of yours. I disagree with Zakir Naik but that hasn't dicreased my respect for him. Those Sunni doesn't know about the Story of Yazid and the Prophet grandsons. For us Sunni who has time to research what is right and wrong we don't critized both of them because we believe they are all following Sunnah of the Prophet of Muhammad. Actually those Sunnis have studied Islam all their lives and know Islamic History inside out. So, don't make assumptions. Those Sunnis include Allamah Jawzi, Qadhi Abu Ya'alah, Allamah Taftani and Allamah Suyuti. These people did not like Yazid and you've got to respect their viewpoint.

I would just like to point out that it's not just Shias who despise Yazeed. Its people of sunnah and jama'ah aswell such as myself. Even if he didn't kill Husain r.o. he got many other sahaaba killed. Any person who puts the people of Madinah in fear is Malo'on as stated by our Messenger. We don't know the reality of Yazeed but everyone agrees that he is not to be respected and many condemn him such as Allammah suyuti and the like.

I'm sunni but dont fully agreed to zakir statement. But in this video the mullah speaking i think he is simply a great lier. The other point is...is it necessary to abuse yazid to get in jannah, i dont think so..there is definite difference of opinions between different fiqh.
