how big is your psu? i got a 750 watt psu and a xfx6870 XXX edition, i wonder if my psu will be enough for another 6870

@GameTester22 mine is 80+ silver. so it should be enough. the problem is that the XXX edition requires a 650watt system. so it needs almost 150watts more than the regular 6870. but i dont know, i just hope it works.

How much RAM do you have? The amount of RAM in your computer will affect FPS in BF3.

Have you played with 4GB vs. 8GB? 8GB most certainly helps with high resolutions in this game and avoiding stutter. If you don't have 8GB, then I am not sure how you can comment.

@SeanOMatic are you sure that you know what you talking about i had 12gb of Ram and i tested the game 4vs8vs12 i did.t see any difference you will notice something if you open like 30 programs and you play at the same time with 4 or 8 12 gb for game is WAY overkill and even 8gb are overkill for game unless you do editing videos and stuff like that the 4 gb is the best for gaming cuz no game gonna use more then 3 gb or even 2 gb of ram

Did you do the tests on your AMD system, by chance? When playing BF3 my RAM usage goes up to 6.8GB. BF3 is definitely a very RAM intensive game. If you have the memory, your system will use it. Consider how much VRAM is there as well. I know plenty of people who have been helped by going to 8GB of RAM with BF3. You also have an SSD, imagine the slowdown on an HDD if you run out of RAM...

@GameTester22 Well yea but when you have a 4gb ram you can only use 3 gb because 1gb is used by windows 7 to run and then bf3 takes at least 2gb and when I have firefox tunning that is 1gb too so if I havd a 4 gb ram and was playing bf3 I would have no ram.

Just to prove your point that 8gb is better than 4gb :D and I have 8gb.

that might be your processor .... your processor might be weak .... get a intel i5 which is atleast 2.93 ghz .... i overclocked my i5 2500k at 4.5 ghz and graphicscard is 6770 and run everything at ultra settings even crysis 2 at extreme settings ... this might help :D

@12345samaniegos If you first had a HD 6770, then bought an extra HD6870, i'd place the 6870 as your main, 6770 as second, than u would get mad results. At least worked for me.
