I've seen all; 5 shelters here in new orleans with domestics with deep UNCURABLE DEPRESSION after living in TINY cages with NO LOVE month in month out.
@paulfbest They weren't feral. (You spelled that wrong, by the way.) They were pets who had been taken to a "sanctuary" that turned out to be the home of a pathological cat-collector. They were living in squalor inside the guy's home and many of them developed serious problems as a result, and were adopted anyway by truly caring people. Next time you might educate yourself a little before posting such a raging screed that's so ignorant of the facts.

Awesome. I'm happy that these cats found loving homes. Yet there is still more to be done for there are more animals that are still homeless and those that are being mistreated and abused and we must all do our part to help all animals and protect them from being mistreated and abused by careless and evil people.
