When I was taking acid reducers, if I would take a drink of water, it would make me feel worse, because it dilutes the acid. Now with taking HCL tablets, water doesn't cause heartburn anymore. Water should NEVER cause heartburn!
@KawaiyoKoji I have GERD from a hiatal hernia. Doctors told me I needed acid-reducers, which I have been taking for YEARS and I always have symptoms still.
Until, I researched some more, then I bought some betain HCL, and I take one capsule before a meal and I haven't had heartburn since.
Doctors are just pawns for the big pharma companies...
This is true, i drank 0.5l of water wich dilute the acid and i started feeling shit, i eated a little, felt better, then took a acid blocker and i started feeling shit again.
Every word of this is true. Believe me, i know from experience! I have been very ill because of low or virtually no stomach acid. It can result in many chronic dieases let alone malnutrition which is bad enough! Thanks for a very informative video. Best of health! x
@ninanaturel I agree 100%. I got 'hooked' on Zantac, took it twice daily for about a year, and became very ill. I had so little energy, I could barely make it out of bed. After doing a little research, I quit the Zantac, within a week I felt like a new person. What Dr.'s won't tell you, these acid reducers are NOT supposed to be taken any longer than 3 weeks!
Um,this isn't exactly true sir. I as a 16 yr old did have acid reflux. I remember having to spit it up into a piece of loose leaf notebook paper, because it was so embarassing, and upsetting. So obviously, this isn't the case across the board. I am in my late 30's now, and still have this problem, so is one supposed to drink vinegar.
@richmanpoman1 Like try focusing on a diet that seems to lessen your reflux? I had a food sensitivity test because of a really bad burning sensation. I guess I am allergic to milk and gluten and it caused all kinds of problems. The allergens wrecked my digestion giving malnourishment and infection. The theory is that dairy and wheat are slightly allergenic to all people, but I am sensitive. I recommend getting a food sensitivity blood test to see if any are adding to your problem and 0 sugar
I have almost 0 stomach acid, every single vitamin mineral I take makes me feel so good. My problem is one, I have Chrohns and two I drink coffee.
When I drink coffee and caffeine, I burp up food all day long without any burning whatsoever. It takes about 4 days without caffeine before I start to feel acid when I burp after about one week the burning burps go away and I can digest anything.
This is a serious problem, and a lot of people just don't get it.
@MTHKITEBOARDS Taking L-Glutamine on a daily basis (on empty stomach) will help your Crohn's & digestion problems. Also, pro/pre biotics will help. And of course, like you said, caffeine stunts your digestion.
@MTHKITEBOARDS hemp oil cures crohns look up Shona banda. I've also heard good things about the herb cat's claw. good luck, I'm sure you've had no help from the mainstream medical community

I can't wait to try this. I'm lucky enough to have a doctor that told me, if i changed my diet and it helps my refulx, i shouldn't take the medicine.

I came here because I searched for an cure for stomach acid...I watched this and went to the kitchen and ate.
P.S. Fresh potateoes or potateo juice is good for your stomach because "it heals eveywhere it touches"-so I hear from my highschool biology teacher.

@richmanpoman1 Did you ever try a therapeutic anti allergenic diet?
AcaiPalmSeeds 4 months ago
@AcaiPalmSeeds I have no clue of what that would constitute. What would I have to eat? How would I know if I was allergic to a food? Please explain.

@MTHKITEBOARDS Also, I read a study where 3 grams of fish oil daily put Crohn's disease into remission in the patients. Definitely worth a try!
