This man is singled-handedly making Elton Brand expendable. Love his game. And those of you who are knocking his Defense, all I have to say is: look at Elton's 1st couple of years as a Clipper. Laterally, he was extremely slow footed, and was easily confused on switches because he always turned his head. Give the kid another year or two, he will be a moderate-to-good interior defensive presence.

this video needs to show other parts of his game. dude has a silky smooth jumper that extends all the way out to the three point line.

I played against Speights in Farragut he was not hard working or did not even care when he played there.

However I am proud to say he turned it around and became an absolute sensation. I knew he was an excellent shot blocker but not this nasty. He also defended Greg Oden very well in the championship game if anybody remembers.

are you that stupid? First off theres no way they can get them, second off, that wouldn't make this team much better. We are still missing a good inside physical presence. Brand is not that. Speights is offensively but defensively hes garbage.

him and thad lou and iggy are the future of the sixers all great draft picks. thad is amazing every game u see these guys get better and better. watch speights hes always on the move in the post he plays the pick and roll well and shoots good catches oops great blocks shots runs the floor his only problem is fouls and not enough playing time. but he is gonna be a 20/10/2 type of guy he does need to rebound better as well.
