Twisted Sister are amazing! However it seems that the guitarplayers do not practice their chops enough. In the eighties they were good. On albums, even better. Their tremolos and vibratos are off rhythm, solos are sloppy. Even guitartones are weak. Normally vocalists are the ones losing their voice once they get old, but Dee Snider proves he hasnt lost his power at all. Saw him live on broadway last year. Amazing voice! Very powerful. Gave me the eighties nostalgia.

Dee Snider said in an intervew that he couldn't write anything new because he wasn't angry anymore, he's not fighting against nothing nowadays, there's no rock rebelion. With all their succes, he can't come with something as strong as We're not gonna take it (example). I hope they do release a new album, but it better be good.

While we were partying in the 80s the corporations sent the good paying jobs overseas. Thats why we were depressed in the 90s. We finally realized the only jobs left are minimum wage. Thanks 80s bands. lol.

@TheLyonhard Because they don't need to make new songs, they have their great songs, awesome songs, why should make a new album? That's the lesson Metallica never learnt, they should have stop making albums after the Black Album, if you're not gonna release a good album, then why do it? TS has been always a live band, they records don't matter much more than their live perfomances.

@WebSlingerZX OK, i agree with you, but i was really disappointed after watching the awesome performance they did in 2003 (?) at Wacken, and i really hoped that they would have done a new great album, i think that they have all the potential to do this ;)

@TheLyonhard No I admit that's disappointing, but I kinda preffer that they don't release anything if it's not going to be really good. Dee Snider said in an intervew that he couldn't write anything new because he wasn't angry anymore, he's not fighting against nothing nowadays, there's no rock rebelion. With all their succes, he can't come with something as strong as We're not gonna take it (example). I hope they do release a new album, but it better be good.

@TheLyonhard Well, it's still the same thing, the instruments' sound is a little heavier, but the vocals can't compete with the old one. I thought it's not worth it, because, like I said, the same thing better not as great as the original.

I didn't like the heavy sounds of the guitars, but the voice was good, if you consider that Dee Snider isn't any more young.
I've recently listen to the solo album of Eddie Ojeda, called Axes 2 Axes, ncie album :)
