It doens't matter if you play with or without shoes. It's all about how you feel more comfortable whilst playing. I'm a drummer myself and I can play better with tight tied shoes with thin soles. Other guys play better barefoot and some others with socks. Can't believe that you guys spend like 3 pages discussion the shit out of this topic ;-). You can't judge the skills of a drummer from what he is wearing on his feet.
