  • i picked it up for 169.99 local rc shop. Best trainer cub ever! i recomend taping off the wing and adding 2 2/3in size foam tires for taxing on grass. happy flying ;D

  • please answer ASAP

  • how much does it cost?

  • Started with a wild hawk which was horrible so I went and bought this one and flew it like a champ! Love it and highly recommend for people who never had flown!

  • and with a basic understanding of how an airplane flies you should have it mastered with a few flights, my hobby store stocks all parts should you break a wing or any of the stabs, and i was very impressed with the customer service, see post below

  • this plane is definately for beginners, super easy to fly, like the review says, it practically flies itself, mine will fly maintain altitude at 1/3 throttle, just crusing, i've crashed it a few times, and had minimal damage, even had the reciever fry and dead sticked in for a somewhat smooth landing, and after contacting hobbyzone they replaced the reciever and motor free of charge, all around i'd say ya cant go wrong with this plane, it flies great, is very stable,

  • i got a new reciver for my cub and for some reason when i turn my controller on i dosent work can someone plz help id realllllllllllllllllly appreciate it

  • @warriorscatsrule805 That is most likely because you did not bind your controller to your receiver. look it up how to do it on google. but make sure that you have the little plug that your controller should have come with.

  • what field is this and where?

  • Lol I fail at landing this plane, but I can land other aiplanes that are not tail draggers. Got any tips?

  • Very nice video!!

Is this plane good for beginners??

  • @Walleby1 yes it is It was my first plane and it was easy to fly

  • cant wait to get mine...

  • I just bought one 5mines mind ago

  • yeah i have now got the time to test with and with out it on as i never got to fly it but i like it off

  • does the act really work?

  • @MrSpideradam believe it or not, I have one and it can basicly do basic corrections in you're bad flying habits!

  • I bought that thing for $100. its a nice airplane, but I'm used to 2 control sticks on the remote than a single.

  • @peanutbutterboy97 thats the super cub mini

  • 190$ for that. Where I live there only 100$ you overpaid!

  • @derekeves1 thats ''false''

  • @hayabusafmw Your right, They are 180$ plus tax !

  • Just got one today from the local hobby store. $190.

  • how much is this plane, looks fun taking into account that i am an experienced rc pilot

  • @InfiinityGaming 150-200 unsure

  • just rebuilt the nose of mine because of a baseball field back stop crash

  • I love my super cub. Read a lot of reviews about how flimsy it is, but Ive been flying mine for years and sometimes in conditions I shouldn't be. Still flying like a champ today. Bought it in early 2008 and only thing Ive had to replace was a prop (Spare comes included) because I forgot to cut the throttle while landing on asphalt on a windy day. Great plane for begginers with at least some flying skill. Not good for kids

  • @California9 i wrecked my prop and cowl after crashing it into a pinetree, but those parts are cheep so it's all good

  • im looking to put an order in for this plane next week but am a bit worried that ill be sorry I didnt go for a 4 channel model.

    any thoughts?

  • @destin325 Dont order this one. Order the Mini Super Cub, you will thank me later. For 100 bucks you get a nice plane to crash and learn on, parts are cheap and the plane is easily repairable with gorilla glue and 3m strapping tape. After you have learned on the 3 channel then I would suggest going for something else. After that you will be thinking 2-3 planes down the road!

  • man the strust look like they can be replaced with real wood

  • got my super cub lp at christmas and is my first proper RC plane so im kinda inexperienced although i have flown like £25 planes but that doesnt count lol. I read advice online and that but i didnt really take no notice, things like 'inexperienced pilots should first hand launch it' and 'If you inexperienced dont fly in winds of over 5mph'. So i went to my nearest big field, took off from ground in 11mph winds and landed it safely. This is a great RC plane! Enjoyable for all.

  • just a quick question i have just bought mine and im having a few troubles with the trim any suggestions

  • sounds like a real plane XD

  • Ooo i live in denver co too!! Colpar hobies the one o havana?? Im getting this plane too

  • Comment removed

  • @sk8ia its nice you'll love it, the one on 285 and wadsworth is where i went

  • hey i live in grand junction and i also got one for christmas!!!i crashed but i fixed it up and gonna try again tomorrow if it isnt to windy

  • @halohunk06 OMG, I live in Grand Jct. also!!! I have my own Cubby, where do you fly?

  • @xh558able i got mine yesterday at colpar hobbies in denver colorado

  • @soxeyer -really?!?!? i got mine for christmas yesterday and we live in CO too!!

  • do you have it on act

  • Hey guys what plane do you recommend for me. i bought the super cub and i'm very good with it. ( thx to my flight simulator which came with a dx5 controller. What should i get next that i can bind my controller to.) Its a dx5e spektrum 2.4GHz dsm2

  • I like so much the cuper cub, great airplane model

  • do want

  • That's a great trainer folks I highly recommend it!!!!!

  • Great power off landing.

  • i have one and its super cool!!!!!!!!!! im learning how to land tho ! haahahhaa

  • what is the trick to landing

  • @1airhogs Im not a good lander myself but the trick to at least not destroying the cub is to SLOWLY reduce the throttle, and then fully reduce it when landed

  • do have full throttle while your in the air flying or should you tone it back? also any tips for beginers, i tried a few times and it was pretty much a diaster. it was out of control and i couldn't control it...

  • sorry, wrong plane for novice, as soon as you hit the ground the prop breaks and worse still the motor shaft bends (cant be fixed) so buy one with a pusher prop like the sky hawk if you are a beginner!--------you have been warned!

  • how come so many circuits to get on landing approach?

...looks like pretty tough air, or smtg.

..regardless - nice flying, & great video :)

  • for fudge sake mine wont even take off da ground and now i cant return it because its broken. its as weak as cheese. Dont get this plane!!!!!!

  • getting one soon

  • lovely jubely

  • Very nice smooth flying I love my supercub I even bought one for my dad too and I love trying to fly with the throttle as low as possible it's challenging especially in winds.

  • I concur. I'm getting back into RC after 5 years off and I am transitioning from nitro to electrics. I bought one of these Cubbys to get my feet wet and I cannot say enough about this little airplane. It's very forgiving and so very easy and fun to fly. I recommend this little guy to anybody wanting to get into RC.

  • nice need to fix mine up crashed it. check it out at justfly60482

  • nice vid and nice landing

  • They should make owning a hobbyzone supercub the mandatory first rc airplane.. I've bought 4 and currently have 2. 1 stock, and one upgraded.. Can't say enough about them.. Check out my rc airlpane videos.. the last one showed my supercub.

  • try flying up side down...i canLOL

  • so dihedral was chosen for the super cub and super mini cub even though the original doesnt have it? i have a dynam super cub with zero dihedral is it going to be a handful?

  • Does it have ailerons? Or does the rudder make it turn?

  • 10-15 mins!

  • sheesh- power lines baseball fences --so ACT just turns the motor off and on when it feels like it should? its not connected to any control surfaces?

  • @pudd750 The ATC cuts the throttle and pulls up on the elevator when it thinks its is nose diving to the ground

  • wow that landing was awesome, but it looked so weird though! wow it glided in without the propeller running. very nice work there. 5*

  • Nice landing at 1:23

  • What lipo can i use im my mini cub?? thanks

  • 11.1v 1350Mah

  • is the rear tail wheel steerable?

  • yes

  • Yes it is.

  • this plane is gor beginners as i own one but i would advise you to get the mini super cub as its cheaper and much easier to fly

  • mini? how much? and werer can i get it?

  • ebay

  • is this plane easy to fly?

    is it for begginers?

  • excellent handling!!!!!!!

  • I have a final cut pro on my mac computer and allows me to slow the picture down from 100% 75% 50% it allows you to see it in a more realistc way.

  • holy shit ,All I've ever wanted to do...one day......lol you basterd!

  • THAT IS AMAZING I AM DEFINATLEY GETTING THE PLANE can you just use batteries do u have to charge it up?

  • you have to charge, mine was $160 comes with dvd and battery and 2 chargers along with the remote. we built it in the field, took about 15 minutes everything you need is in the box. buy 2 batteries. i paid 200 and can fly for about an hour and 15 mins. i also bought some CA glue. if its ur first plane dont rush flying it NO WIND!!!!!!!! overall, great plane =)
