  • Sting looked so completely out of place with the Horsemen.

  • i was a wwf kid. is this when flair went heel or had he already done it?

  • People say Sting didn't fit in with the Horsemen. Well people said the same thing when he joined the NWO and the Main Event Mafia. Sting is one of the greatest legends ever and he was in demand everywhere he competed, so looking back Sting wasn't out of place after all.

  • Stink was a horrible wrestler. His whole act was equivalent to that of the "Renegade"

  • HAHA I remember this lol

  • Wow, I totally don't remember Sting ever being in the Horseman. Were they still a heel stable? I just dont' remember Sting ever being heel during his blonde hair days.

  • @frythedeliveryguy During the time Sting was in the Horsemen they were all faces, this was shortly after Flair's feud with Terry Funk. When they kicked Sting out after Starcade the Horsemen went back to being a heel sable.

  • @SolDethgard Ah thank you! That just brought back the memories. I miss the old days.

  • Sting showed no class at all. I can't believe he flipped out and went beserk just because he was told that he couldn't be in their social club anymore. Luckily the Horsemen were there to restrain him until he came to his senses and stopped him from doing harm to himself or any of the fans.

  • hey flair and anderson, remember when nwo beat you, you could of used sting's help back then, but he didnt come in to protect you, remember war games 96 and 97?

  • Now you see the old fucker in the ring right there!! ;) kiddin you know I love ya Funker :D

  • Ole's like "Yeah Funker, were tough alright, now shut your f*ckin mouth..lol

  • I remember seeing this as a kid. I also remember as a kid thinking, that although sting (my first wrestling hero) was tough enough, the were never gonna let him in even if he didn't go after Rick Flair's title even back then. I was beginning to learn who the Horsemen were, and as a kid, even though I fell in love with the stable back then, I feared them. There were only a handful of horsemen that I respected over the years. I didn't like all of the 'incarnations' of the group, shall we say.

  • @Section9Wannabe I agree. the only Horsemen that I liked were Ric, Ole, Arn, Tully, Barry Windham, Dean Malenko, Chris Benoit. Those are the TRUE and ONLY Horsemen in my book...

  • @PinchinTheBear I concur. As part of the Horsemen, these men were the only men to hold championship belts. I would also give an honorable mention to Steve "Mongo" McMicheals. I think that he was a tag team champion too. I will readily admit that by the time he became part of the Horsemen, the ratings aspect of wrestling at the time was dropping faster than the economy. But he did hold his own as a horseman, even if he really couldn't wrestle worth a shit. Good mic skills though.

  • @PinchinTheBear I agree, Mongo was a great mouthpiece.....

  • someone tried 2 argue me dat sting was neva a horseman.......

  • They worked so hard to make it look so real...Loved the NWA. The fury on Flair's face prior to bitch-slapping Sting...Sting's reaction to Flair's punch--Like he had no idea it was coming...The fan's shocked reaction...Jim Ross' reaction. Thank goodness for Youtube--Beats the hell out of watching Sheamus roll around.

  • @RFAA4444 Im tired of watching Seaman, B.M. Fuck, Cena and those bean burrito eatin jabronee's...pg fucking childrens pull up pants bullshit. its graduating from balls to taint.

  • Amazing amazing ..fucking amazing ..how come wrestling sux today !! :(

  • I remember the Sting/ Flair feud, but do not remember Sting ever being a Horsemen. Great upload man.

  • hahahaaha Ole sonned Sting...Ric tried to give him a pass, but NOPE...had to open his mouth

  • "It's here to stay" Until they run out of money lol

  • "Now just be quite, there 3 of us here and 1 of you"

  • I see a lot of Ole in Stone Cold Steve Austin...Ole is a great talker & tough guy... I love how he puts Terry Funk in his place(Just hold the mic)...Then talks down Sting

  • four horseman is and always will be recognized as some of the greatest wrestlers in sports and entertainment history.

  • I saw this live..It was funny as shit.

  • JIM CORNETT IS HILARIOUS LOL

  • this was awesome and a classic wrestling moment

  • i had no idea sting was a hourseman i always thought ric flair and sting hated eachother

  • i never knew sting was a horseman wow

  • I marked out so hard when they turned on Sting... 4 Horsemen Forever.

  • @GonnaSin I remember jumping out of my chair at home, and spilled my pepsi everywhere...Loved the NWA.

  • the mistake was giving creative control to the overrated Hulk Hogan. the man "never drew a dime"

  • @47sonny47 He never drew a dime are you fucking kidding me what era did you grow up in?

  • Comment removed

  • Bring the rat tail back Sting

  • Wow Sting was treated like a 2 dollar whore

  • Sting was too big to be confined to a stable.

  • This was just Great Acting & very similar when Orton getting kicked out of Evolution in 2004.

  • Still one of my favorite angles of all time. I was watching live and was shocked when Sting got the boot. However I loved it!

  • sting has a swastika on his face, = win.

    hahahaha

  • @TheNewMusicNetwork

And the classic Rat tail hair!

  • @doublepenetr8or you mean surf tail. made popular at socal beaches

  • @doublepenetr8or here you go bro, lofl

    /watch?v=yKW7dQmYWQc

  • greatest Introduction ever: "HELLOOOO!"

  • The Horsemen suffered severe badass decay between 1990 and 1997. Here, they kick Sting out of the Horsemen by beating him up. In '97, Jeff Jarrett leaves the Horsemen (and even says to Arn, "I want to talk to the lead horse [Flair], not the horse's rear end [you]"). And he got to walk away scot-free.

  • Didn't anybody clue Ole into where the hard camera was?

  • LOL... if you didn't know who Terry Funk was, you'd be sure the guy said "there's the old fucker in the ring" when this vid starts

  • @Rasha5377 "funker in the ring."

  • @Cokedlr No shit, dude. Did my comment not say, "if you didn't know who Terry Funk was?" Dumbass.

  • @Rasha5377 :) lol, us true fans know better tho. gotta love the funker :)

  • @Rasha5377 there you see the old fucker in the ring right there :D

  • @Rasha5377 Yeah that cracks me up, the old fucker lol

  • Was Funk a face at this point? How did he turn face?

  • @AceDagger1 -After losing to Flair in the I quit match at Clash IX Gary Hart and Muta beat the Living crap out of him after he shook Flair's hand.

  • Ashley Schaeffer BMW

  • nothing but whitetrash & rednecks in wcw during that time period

  • wcw was always backwater country to me

  • This was soooooooooo funny back in the day. The Horsemen ruled.

  • ole has great mic skills

  • @kassop I think that was Ole's Strongest point was his mic skill. man could the big guy talk..

  • Sting's facepaint was EPIC for this segment.

  • As great as Flair vs HBK @ Mania was... I always thought they should've brought Sting in for that match. Sting and Flair had such history/chemistry.

  • did not no sting waz a Horsemen

  • Minnesota Wrecking crew one of the best Tag Teams EVER

  • WCW "Here to stay"...for about ten more years. sigh.

  • Sting ended up beating flair didn't he?

  • @smoke126857 -On July7 of 1990 at the Great American Bash after he returned from the Legit knee injury he suffered later on this night.

  • @smoke126857 For the World Title and held it longer than anyone else who beat Flair for it at the time.

  • I like Flair's powdered wig.

  • what month in '90?

  • @arkie74 February 6, 1990.

  • @arkie74 This I'm pretty sure was January '90 because Sting vs. Flair was supposed to happen in February.

  • @jaruel37 -Sting-Flair was scheuled for Feb 25th at WrestleWar 90. This Clash of the Champions Card was designed to set the stage for that ppv. Of course the legitimate knee injury Sting suffered that night pushed all plans back untill July of 1990. Supposedly Sting was to win the Norld Title at Wrestlewar 90 but because of the injury Flair's reign lasted until Sting was able to return.

  • Sting got owned!!

  • Classic, you can find this great moment on the Ric Flair Ultimate Collection DVD.

  • To be honest, Sting didn't need the Horsemen and the Horsemen didn't need Sting. They knew he can do much better on his own, so that's why they booted him out.

  • WCW did the Horsemen SO wrong...

  • great segment. much better than what they're doing today

  • is it me or does ole anderson look alot like chris benoit

  • @MrShem73

tho benoit was dressed like arn is here when he was in the horsemen

  • i almost had a fight n jail tryna tell me sting was never a horsemen da proof is here

  • this guys look like some old fucking punks and flair sucks

  • MAN, STING AND FLAIR HAD 2 BE CLOSE CUZ U CAN'T FAKE A SLAP. AND RIC BITCH SLAPPED STING SEVERAL TIMES. MAN THIS WAS AWESOME. U DON'T C SHIT LIKE THAT NO MORE

  • Sting was never Horseman quality

  • @54davidn True, but the idea of him and Flair teaming up at Halloween Havoc '89 was just awesome. No puns intended lol.

  • cool ass ric flair

  • At the start of this clip it sounded to me like the commentator said "There you see the old fucker in the ring right there." even though I think what he actually said was "There you see the old Funker in the ring right there." I guess in a way I wouldn't mind referring to Terry Funk as the old fucker because he was once upon a time a very unfair wrestler who cheated to win most of the time.

    ~Mr. Make Believe

  • I love how Ole speaks to him like he is his dad.

  • This is one of the greatest moment in WCW history. the Start of a Year and half feud with Ric Flair vs. Sting....

Two Superstar on this night became legends later...

  • this is why i dont watch this shit

  • the real 4 horsemen with tully blanchard!! sting does'nt fit in

  • man those 4 used to kick assss!!

  • sting as a horseman and horsemen as faces just was never a good look

  • @roncarl9 i agree wit u

  • "flair's in a $10,000 suit". lmao

  • The fact that people are still discussing this 20 years after the fact shows just how great it was.

  • @dp100eboggan Yezzir. I remember watching this with my friends when I was 7. It's a shame though, cuz nowadays I'd rather watch old WCW clips than current WWF matches.

  • @dirtybutter PREACH dirty PREACH.....wwME BLOWS Donkey Ballz nowadays

  • @dp100eboggan That's what you call quality and class. Two things that NEVER go out of style.

  • terry funk raped so many women wearing those white booties

  • fUNKY ASS tERRY fUNK!!

  • There is no way you can compare the nWo to the 4-Horsemen. The nWo is not in the same league with the horsemen.

    The greatest wrestling group ever.

  • sweet boots from crazy terry

  • this is when wrestling was awesome

  • Indeed. Look at the collection of talent they had at that time: Flair, AA, Sting, Funk, and with JR and Jim Cornette announcing (and yes, even Ole). It's sad to think about how badly WCW screwed up.

  • @noneckjo3 I don't know for the life of me why you got all of those thumbs up. The problem had to do more with what today's internet fans scream for more wrestling. WCW was a wrestling oriented group and WWE was a variety show. When WCW turned into a variety show they gave WWE a run for their money.

  • @sanddune And they ran themselves into the ground. NWA was so great because it provided an alternative to the WWE instead of being the exact same thing.

  • One of the greatest Horsemen betrayals ever. Totally shocking at the time, and it still resonates today.

  • lol

  • Flair woulda been a better spokesman for the horsemen than Ole.

  • @djkrap naaa Ole was perfect for that role

  • I didn't know Sting was a member either.

My company used to sell equipment to Sting's Dad, so we used to get ringside tickets all the time.

  • fuck i never knew sting was in the four horsemen shit good video

  • who has the vid of the horsemen beating the hell out of lex luger in the parking lot and rick flair takes off one of his shoes and cracks luger in the head

  • This was actually when the horseman gimmick went downhill...end of it's era!

  • Sting should have called the match off

  • I remember this. Sting tried to climb into the cage later that night to seek revenge.

  • yeah and fucked his knee up for six months

  • I think Sting being injury prone was probably one of the reasons why WCW wouldn't let him keep the title.Everytime he won it or contended for it,he injured his knee.Plus he was a notorious partier back in his day before he slowed his role a bit.

  • This was when the horseman turned heel and 'kicked out' sting from the horsemen...the horsemen were faces prior to this!

    lmao

'there are 3 of us and 1 of you'!!!

  • OLE had zero charisma on the mic thats why they kicked him out too!

  • Technically Sting was a Horseman, but c'mon, he was NEVER a Horseman (it was a mistake to make him a member, and they fixed that mistake right here - classic)

  • Excellent clip! It's so funny because previously Arn and Ric were acting like it was okay for Sting to wrestle Ric for the title. They said it the belt would be staying within their "family" no matter who won. But they just couldn't take having Sting be in the Horsemen for long, and you see the brutal outcome here! Why did Sting trust them?!

  • because it was scripted that way, thats my guess.

  • This would of been great if Ole didn't suck at cutting promos. He sounds like he's preaching work ethic backstage instead of being a character.

  • Disagree---Ole could cut a decent promo; that was all he could do because he was old and washed up at this point.

  • I also disagree...Ole got to the point and he was damn tough. You didn't want to fuck with Ole in his prime.

  • @sinfonian39 I don't think too many people would want to fuck with him after his prime either.

  • well if your a later generation of the Horse men then us Stingers will meet you guys in the parking lot at ihop and we'll settle our differences there..

  • okay

  • ROTFL,

Stiing was nothing more than a punk anyway. Classic Ric Flair. They did the right thing. Sting was nothing mor e than a glory hogging punk. I'm was so happy they beat his azz.

Look at the way sting is dressed! Not Horseman style!

  • all u guys check out my winners vid starring shigg nasty feat. ric flair

    it's off the fucking hook!!!!!

ric rapping to my track comment to

thanks and if yall like it i'll do ric flair vs

dusty rhodes in a battle of the hip hop promos!!!!!!

  • I respect Ric Flair but hes a dick. Same for Triple H, I hope Randy Orton wins the WWE title or C M Punk cashes in his Money in the bank and puts Hunter in his place.

  • fuck you

  • I think JBL hit the nail on head when he said "Everyone loves freedom speech till someone uses it". You really think Ric Flair cares I called him a dick?

  • This was the night everything changed,They were set to do Sting vs Flair then At the end of the night Sting does a run in on the horseman match and blows out his knee legit trying ti clim the cage to get in the ring

  • "Get out this business! Get rid of that contract! Get out of my life!" LOL. Vintage Flair.

  • i recalled this act it was funny as hell not as funny when rick fair took off one of his 500 dollars dress shoes and crack luger in the head classic shit

  • sweat from my balls

  • oooooh...I was 5 yrs old in 1990, and most of the wrestling I saw was in WWF. So with that said, I never knew that Sting was a Horseman.......there, I said it.

  • Do you have more of this Clash???

  • Amen to that. Gone are the days of MAgnum TA , The Road warriors, The Midnight Express, Nikita Koloff and so on and so on. WWE wasnt how I was introduced to wrestling. A steel cage match between Ole Anderson and LEx luger is what drew me to wrestling. Then came the seeing LEx lUger on a magazine cover. WWE came second to me. Wrestling was WCW in the 80s and early 90s!!!!

  • This is classic! I always preferred WCW over the (then) WWF. Better story lines, better rivalries and much better wrestlers.

  • is that Jim Ross behind the mic?

  • yes

  • Yeah, he worked for WCW before WWF.

  • It sounds so weird to hear JR and James E. Cornette doing commentary for WCW because I'm so accustomed to hearing them together back in the old WWF

  • The WCW had all the stars before WWF/e.Undertaker,Triple H,Austin ,Jericho,Eddy Guerro,Benoit,Faroq,Edge,Booker T, and ect.Vince gave them big contracts and they left.If Bischoff and the Nwo bullshit didn't matter WCW would steel been here and not the WWf/e!

  • WcW underused like all of those guys.

  • Yeah, WCW underused all of them. Ron Simmons Faroq only became the WCW world champion, beating Vader who was the company's established monster heel. Eddie Guerrro held the TV title, Cruiserwieght Title, and US title. Booker T had the championship 5 times. Benoit is a fomer World Champion, US and TV champion. Yeah, those guys were all jobbers in WCW

  • Steve austin was a "nobody" in wcw, along with Triple H. Did they make great decisions losing them?

  • triple H was a nobody. He did at the very least make it to Starcade. But then again, Triple H really isn't that marketable as he is just a politician. medicore mic skills, average in the ring, and not a great physique (during his time in WCW before he got roided out). Austin on the other hand did okay in WCW. Sure he wasn't a world champion, but he did win the TV title, and was a constant US title contender. I think he also won the tag belts with Flyin Brian once as well.

  • WCW Didn't use Eddie Right either. he was a Big name star when he got the chance with WWE. Same with Chris Benoit.

  • this reminds me of....high school. The popular clique kicking out 'the most likely to be outcasted girl'

  • Well...Sting didn't fit in with that face paint of his...LOL!

  • his was one of the horsemen face runs......damn ole was ripping sting a new one!!!!

yea....i love sting but he looked waaaaaaaaaaay out of place in the horsemen! i am glad they 'kicked' him out b/c this here was the pathway for him going to the top in WCW!

  • 4 horsemen was like da mafia lol ric was gotti whoooooooooooooooooooh!!!!!!!!!!!

  • you said it scotus wwe is a joke

  • THIS was wrestling! Vince has no idea how to produce this. . . . .

  • Hey! I like 'rasslin' And no I'm not a redneck, except perhaps, in spirit...LOL!

  • I remember watching this when it first happened back in the day. Makes a guy feel old. lol

  • Teryy! Sting! Ric! Arn & Ole!

  • Flair was so damn cool back then...and still is!!!

  • Ole was awesome here.

  • I gotta agree. They don't make them like they used to.

This is wayyyyy better than anything in any wrestling show today.

  • Wow Ole was great, I miss the old days, JESUS, look at RAW tonight, Vince is paying people to watch his show!!!

  • if you're getting tired of Vinces crap don't watch his show. Keep lowering his ratings, so that he will give the fans what they want. Entertainment.

  • Yeah we should all boycott his crap

  • Funny. Ole's the one telling Sting he's fired and I remember back in early '87 when he had HIS ass literally kicked out of the Four Horsemen, before Luger was brought in to replace him.

  • Classic Horsemen clip! Sting gets dumped by the original members. I vividly remember this, great stuff that you don't get these days.

  • i had no idea that sting was at one point part of the four horsemen. who knew...

  • Most real wrestling fans.

  • I remember this like it was yesterday! The Four Horsemen was the best thing in the business in the 80's
