WHY DO SOME OF THE '68's HAVE THE METAL PIECE IN BETWEEN THE TAIL LIGHTS AND OTHER '68 ROAD RUNNERS SUCH AS THIS ONE, ARE WITHOUT THE METAL PIECE IN BETWEEN???

I had a 68..383..wow could that thing GO..back then gas was nothing..Im not remembering how many gals it held but it was around 20 or so..dont quote me on that..many wonderful memories. Also had a 69 Camaro..it was beautiful too.

My neighbor just got a 67 in a dark green. That thing was LOUD!! He fired it up an let all 378 horses out at once.
