no they dont. well, most of the time. rarely they sing live. different from recorded version doesnt mean they sing live. this is one of the issues that always rises by critics. even in japan. well, for me, south korea hve better idols. atleast they sing live and they do their choreography uniformly. but as for the song, i prefer japan. and i really hate korean live bands.
japanese music will always over shadow korean music mainly cause japan has such a wide selection of diversity to their music that korea sadly doesn't have, as well as having original idea's that korea seems hasn't caught onto yet, i think if korea fixed these problems then they'd rival japanese music :) but just my opinion i like both ^_^

Not necessarily in Japan, though. While Japanese music can be explicit, if a South Korean group/singer wants fame, they must do it unexplicitly. Aside from that, most famous singers in South Korea are trained for more than three years before they even get to sing. But not in Japan. Both have great music regardless

Like I said, all the Korean groups can't be considered "top stars" in Japan if they barely reach the 100,000 mark in the first three weeks.

It's hard to judge which is more popular internationally, both groups are doing well, but I think AKB might have the edge since the Japanese music industry has been around for so much longer and is still growing.
AKB48 are highly adaptive and unpredictable. They cover so many themes. Get into them and see for yourself.
K-pop as a whole is a repetitive fad that is slowly but surely phasing out.
