This band does not get the credit they need and deserve, they've been together for almost 10 years, 4 records later, they've had success and all, but they've worked too hard to get what they have, they deserve much better
Dead Meadow is such a great post modern psychedelic band. I had the chance to see them in Silverlake California at Spaceland. They were absolutley incredible! Remember that one Anton?
the album version is so much better, I kinda hate how it' goes right into the solo. it's releasing tension that was never built up, so it's just tension as the result, and no release, thenit fades out instantly, not to say this isn't a great song, because it is, I just prefer the album version.
These guys always remind me of pre Dark Side Pink Floyd, me favorite psycedelic era music.
I remember as a kid realizing Floyd would never make his kind of music again and being very depressed. Finaly someone to carry on the true psychedelia legacy that has been glareingly absent from music. My mind can resume its expansion!!
I love all of their songs. When ur high. this is the best. lol. it makes me soo relax and it clears out my mind. Isn't that weird. Maybe it depends on the person. I need their cd. i just download.. i want all their cds. lol. How old are the band memebers? I could just look it up. lol. All their songs remind me of when i was little.. hehe
I've confirmed with the Bass player, that the director of this video was influenced by the film "Picnic at Hanging Rock". So, that's where the video got it's roots, if you'd like to check the film out. It's creepy.
this song kills me, gooooood goood stuff

I love the antiquity of this video. It's simple, but haunting like the melody of the song. I'm so hooked on this song right now. Great music.

Sorry dude, but Pink Floyd wasn't a guy. The Floyd was a whole band...I know...total mind-blow

Barrett came up with the alternative name The Pink Floyd Sound, after two blues musicians, Pink Anderson and Floyd Council
jawshchevyvan 3 years ago 4
True.
wizardfan7689 3 years ago
But that still doesn't change the fact that Pink Floyd wasn't an actual person
But hey, at least you missed the point completely :)

they sound like early radiohead in this song, mixed with some late period REM.

does the voice have any kind of effect?
please somebody answer!!
hectordabracoone 4 years ago
sounds like reverb.
chainmail311 4 years ago
to me it sounds like the vocal track only has compression added, with at least one extra vocal track underneath.
there's a lot of reverb and delay on the guitars which makes it sound like the whole thing is reverbed out, but the vocals sound pretty clean.
