Whats awsome about being a kicker on kickoff is, no one blocks you. So if your aggressive and want to get the tackle, there's alot of chances.

@pudgylumpkins That's what most coaches want but the way I look at it is. If you can make the tackle at the 20 or 30, It's better than playing safety. I also played nose and was faster than most of the kickoff team so I was more confident going for the tackle. Plus, if your playing safety and the guy gets through, he usually has a couple blockers to block you.

i weigh 172 and my main postion is kicker that what my scouts are looking at me for , Pro kicker jhon hall sponsers me thru nike and i played MLB,SS,DB,WR,and FS before i became a K/P plus im only a freshman and im the varsity kicker longest feild goal 56yards 10o% touchbacks for kick offs with 90% of them going out of the endzone and average punt 43.7 yards and i had 12 tackles this season , Thats why FSU andUSF Georiga and Notre Dame are looking at me :)
