Don't worry, my stating of 'I dislike the first Batman movie' usually horrifies people. Along with 'I dislike Star Wars' ensures I've gotten a LOT of hate thrown my way. Also, I too enjoyed Hudson Hawk, its a dreadful movie but still entertaining in its badness.
@Otokogoroshi I don't dislike it so much as I just have no opinion on it. I appreciate Burton's input and Nicohlson's performance, but besides that, I found it pretty forgettable.
I didn't really like the first Batman movie.I found it incredibly...meh if that makes any sense. A little dull almost. I do like the second Batman movie and Batman Forever for much the same reasons Kyoko does. Batman Forever is a a product of my childhood, I can't completely hate it. Plus I like the Riddler, I thought he was scary when I was younger and Nicole Kidman does a good job. The second one...well it's just better. Probably because of Catwoman. :)
Personally I always thought Batman Forever was better than Batman Returns, Batman Returns was just always weird off-putting and mean spirited to me I guess.
@lacthewatcher1 Of the two, I do like Forever better than Returns. Returns worked for me because while they portrayed Selina as more psychologically disturbed than a low level sociopath, I really felt the friction between them was very close to the kind in the comics. Penguin was pretty gross, but I kind of liked that he was really out there.
Ah Tank Girl; truely awful movie, and yet I love it! Soundtrack was great too :-)
