Wow!!! I just finished watching december boys, the movie and just like kaylakook, i had to find this song and the movie made me cry too. The movie is GREAT...and the song is...wow. Its my favourite now...heh

The movie's about 4 orphans in the 60's; and they want to have the attention of the family, so they compete...
I think that the song refers to the movie: it's better to let something down, than fighting while you should be close...

It was really good! I loved it personally. It wasn't the usual type of movie I watch, but I thought it was great. You should rent it. ^.^

Well, December Boys is a nice movie. Very simple, but nice cast. Daniel and Teresa are alright together, except for their sex scene.
