Seriously? On taller women, it's ridiculous to be expected to be a size 0. The taller you are, the bigger your frame is. It's common knowledge. The industry needs to realize that big is beautiful. There's nothing wrong with being a size 12, 14, 16, or even bigger.
As much as I love Fashion, the industry is so ass backwards. Women have curves, hips, breasts, thick thighs, etc. There is nothing wrong with being slim, but the shoving of slim women down normal sized womens throats is what makes it bad. Designers need to understand Models model their clothes but normal sized women buy them. You want to design for women than you design for our curves also, it's what makes us women.

Thats not true, I worked in retail for 10 years, plus size section was only for size 14 and up. 12 and under was on the regular section. Look at Macys...of course except for high end brands like versace and Italian brands....they stop at size 10, which is actually an 8 because their clothes run smaller too.

Coming from a fashion background this is really shocking to me. The dressforms we had in college we were only given a choice between a size 8 and a 10 "sample sizes". This is now considered "plus size" : / Sadly the industry is not going to change. They started to appease us by implementing "vanity sizing". Which is nothing more than a band-aid in my opinion.

Coming from a fashion background this is really shocking to me. The dressforms we had in college we were only given a choice between a size 8 and a 10 "sample sizes". This is now considered "plus size" : / Sadly the industry is not going to change. They started to appease us by implementing "vanity sizing". Which is nothing more than a band-aid in my opinion.

these women make me feel a lot better about myself. They're all a lot bigger than me and they still look great. i've had an eating disorder for like 5 years now and it's nice to see these healthier women who are still beautiful in the public eye.

This is nice and all but really? PLUS size? Plus compared to what? Heroin addicts? I'm naturally somewhat more thin, but this ridiculous idea that there is some magical perfect size and anyone over that is a specialized "plus" size is just totally absurd.

This is what real women look like. We need to flip the script. These size 2s out there who have taken over media, TV and movies are MINUS SIZE WOMEN. Let's start a movement to recognize reality, and eliminate the Madison Avenue fantasy that beauty only comes in a size 6 or less. Size twelve is not plus-it's just right.

I still dont understand why so many people say yes this is beautiful, and the designers are still working with the skinny models. I am a curvy young woman to and i was never proud of it! For a long time I was ashamed of my body and never felt happy with my curves. Now i have seen this and me boyfriend who is saying to me that i am beautiful i am really happy with that. I hope one day the models are more curvy just like these women are. They are just beautifull and i am proud at them and myself!

I'm a plus size model and this really inspired me.
The media has really put too much pressure on women and girls alike to be super thin.
The reality is only a limited number of people were really made that small, and it's just not healthy to be that skinny.
It took me a while, but I am VERY proud of my size and I model and pose with confidence. I hope more plus size girls/women step up and do the same.
Be sassy, be confident, be happy with yourself. :]

I'm a size 7 and I'm not plus size. I think this video goes wrong in it makes girls who are slim/average seem "plus size" and it makes "plus size" girls feel like they are huge and not represented. It still makes it seem like they are trying to hide the true "plus size" females. thats wrong
