I wonder how much that little box of worms cost? They are different than the worms you can dig up in your yard?I have heard that the worms poop is the totally best compost in the world and its clean compost that is if you feed them good stuff?
If murder wasn't illegal, I would you track you down using the images I've seen of your home and your account information and slit your fucking throat. Seriously, "their soil smells so good?" holy shit... and what kind of fucking present is worms...
How come you need to buy worms? Are they not attracted to your compost heap naturally? Or is your soil so bad that there are no worms in there at all.
That species of worm are from tropical climates and the eat and poop more than worms indigenous to the US and Canada. They also can survive in containers so they are great for indoor composting if you live in a cold place.
I, and maybe you, live in warm places so we are ok with dumping all our compostables in a pile in the back yard.
Welcome to the world of vermiculture! New to me too! I received a handful of red wigglers at a free class in April & made them a home with 2 5-gallon buckets nested in each other -- one with holes and shredded, lightly-wet, junk-mail to serve as the worms' home and an outer bucket to catch the 'leachate' from the worms' activity above (to become worm tea). Working wonderfully in my garage and free! It's a worm-casting factory now. Just thought I would share my idea. Keep the vids coming!
Odd, cause I was sending Ben links for worms cause I wanted to get em for your bday! I think that was the same kind even... I love that you sing the Dog Bean Song. See you in a week!
Congrats on your new wormie friends! Very cute. Where are you going to put them...in the turning barrel composter? Where did your moms get the worms? Oh btw...very cool moms to support the urban homesteaders! Good luck.
we're building them a seperate home. we're doing it with the camera on, don't worry. : ) we're hoping to make a small business out of it, and sell worms at the farmer's market next year, after they've multiplied.
That's an excellent profit idea for the urban and rural homestead. Can't wait for the vids!! It will be really great for all of us to learn from...to actually see it in action and not just on paper. Good luck.
Id read worms are used in some composting toilet systems and that they eat up all the pathogens. Are you gonna go with a greywater reuse and composting toilet system?I notice these are NOT getting the attantion the should over expensive sewers and septics.
Bosnia and Herzegovina. You will get more and more views. Actually you do not have much videos and yet you have lots of subscribers... and you will have even more. Message will be hear... :)

Nice video!
The worms you got are from the tropics? It´s interesting to know the specie of the worm you are working with!
I am from Costa Rica and curiously here is wide spread the use of the California red worms for composting and more.
