yeah the only thing that n96 got a larger memory(but it doesnt matter cuz n86 got 8gb internal memory and microSD slot up to 16 gb ! ) but n86 better in camera and build quality (scratch resistance AMOLED screen, good build materials not cheap plastic as n96 ) and both phones r similar in everything else........i got a nokia n81 8gb and i have been asked by my dad if i want 2 upgrade to n96 or n86 n i chosen n86 xD i ll get in 2 weeks :D

i have this phone.......very good symbian OS, and web browser is amaizing, gaming also..i can play quake 1, 2 for PC on phone with no problems, and also supports quake 3 arena, very high video quality on MP4 movies (it looks like real HD DVD movie)

Looks really nice, but the lack of touch screen in such a touch screen orientated world right now seems a little odd. Having said that, touch screen isn't the end all.

this phone doesn`t have the looks, ugly design. 8mp i don`t know if it`s better than a 5mp camera (it`s a matter of resolution, but the lens are the same so not much of a quality compared to a photo camera). i wouldn`t buy this phone. i still think n95 and 6310i are the best phones ever made.

The few difference between this one and n97 are, n86 is 8 Megapixel, n97 is 5 Megapixel. N97 is touch pad and has a keypad. N97 has GPS. n86 doesn't. Overall, this one is probably going to be cheaper than n97
