You do know that not playing the game is not the perfect argument right? And I don't think it looks ugly and for your information, I like the art design and colors. The first time I saw a gameplay trailer I thought, oh well this looks alright. Not as bad as I thought. Then I watched it again and again, and watched some more videos showing more gameplay and I thought, this does not meet the standards of what I'm used to. It looks limiting and too easy. I've played garbage like this before.

They could have gone so many different routes with the next installment with the series but they decided to recreate an origin story. Additionally, they've turned Dante into something he's not. If they remove Dante as the main character and changed some aspects to make it a new character, I would accept this. Besides, I'm stating my opinion yes, you can offer yours but everyone has the right to speak their mind.
I don't think it will be a flop at all. Honestly, if it wasn't for the fact that they named this game DmC I wouldn't have known this was a Devil May Cry game. I would have just called this game a copy cat. There isn't anything Iconic to relate to the other games, where's Rebellion?, Yamamoto?, and I didn't have a good enough look at the guns to know if they're Ebony and Ivory are not. You should know a series that you love immediately using familiarities from other games. I didn't feel that from any of the DmC trailers.
For those of you who don't like this new dmc you should watch the video "hitler responds to dmc". I agree with him. I thought it would have been great if nero in addition to the red queen sword and his devil arm were to have a wider selection of weapons like dante. I wish nero could get gilgemesh and use yamato the same way virgil did. Nero could be the new dante if they gave him better guns and more weapons.
The only thing I demand is that everyone that say they are not going to buy this game actually wont buy the game. Send Capcom a message that we will not take this shit.
The graphics are awesome, but I'm not sure about the gameplay. The thing is, I haven't seen one single trailer where there is a different combat "style". So far every piece of gameplay focuses on swordmaster play and basic platforming.
I really want to see some gunslinger action or some evasive moves from the trickster style. It does look like heavenly sword with a different art style and to me, that's the saddest part.
The gameplay is the same from DMC4. The environment looks really good though. This has to be when dante is like13-15 because he was 19-21 in DMC3. There's no style gauge so for all of us that love getting SSS ratings that's out. Dante doesn't have his gray hair which is a staple of the series. It seems to me that they are treating this game like its Heavenly Sword but let's just see how the end product and decide for ourselves if they did a good job or not.
Also... The fucking graphics are great, and you can't judge the fighting system if you haven't even fucking used it your self. I kind of want to burst out in laughter at how stupid some of these comments really are. It's as if... YOU ALL KNOW. Every little detail from the 2 minutes of gameplay.
I guess people are to blind to see that this is IN EARLY STAGES. It's not completely developed yet and the flaws will be fixed if they need to be. Just calm da fuck down.

The gameplay is the same from DMC4. The environment looks really good though. This has to be when dante is like13-15 because he was 19-21 in DMC3. There's no style gauge so for all of us that love getting SSS ratings that's out. Dante doesn't have his gray hair which is a staple of the series. It seems to me that they are treating this game like its Heavenly Sword but let's just see how the end product and decide for ourselves if they did a good job or not.

Ok, i won't talk about how the hair and appearance is offensive, cause i don't want to annoy some people.
This WILL be a good game. It just won't meet dmc standard, a game where style is everything. Ninja theory is known for making spectacular environment and incredibly deep story, but lame gameplay. No matter how hard they try, i'm afraid they will somehow screw dmc's legendary gameplay. From the first look, i can already see 2 major "flaws" to devil may cry: slow combat and no style gauge

Some advice NT:
1) get rid of this drug addict kid;
2) give the character more ~educated combat movement (use japanese martial artists! for mocap);
3) make it 60 FPS! For a hardcore, smooth action game 30 FPS is not serious and unacceptable.

Why all the hate? First off, the graphics "look bad" - and actually I think they look pretty stylish so far - because the game is still in development, so don't your panties tangled, and the game looks fun, as all the other DMC games. That's all I really care about, the fun factor, if you're concerned about Dante's new look so much go play the other games, damn.

I don't care for dante's new or that he's supposed to be a teenager but has more abilities than he did in dmc 4. And i don't apprecaite him being able to pull people towards him. Its like he's copying nero. I have to say that nero is still cooler than the new dante.

You know, I think if this game wasn't called Devil may Cry it would be a little more welcomed. I personally don't care about Dante's new look. I'm obviously sad they didn't make a true Devil may Cry 5 (as in after DMC2) but this looks like a very respectable title.
Although, it bothers me how Dante smokes when the devs clearly said he does not. Oh well.
