I'm a sophomore at CHS and i dont think we need new AstroTurf or new field and bleachers. The money should go towards classes or clubs because some of the classrooms are falling apart or towards other things that will be useful or even new textbooks there falling apart and some of them you can't even read out of. This new AstroTurf will no boost spirit are football team sucks....just saying.... sincerely , -SHK

@DontHateAppricate first off, you have absolutely no room to talk about the football team. you dont know how hard this sport really is, and i guarantee you that you couldnt handle the sport. and now let me clear this up for you, the money they are spending this turf on is from a MAINTENANCE fund! not for books/classes etc. also, this turf would save money in the long run. you don't have to spend thousands of dollars on it every year to re-sod like we do now. you have to clean it every decade.

@Reichert86 I can handle the damn sport of football thank you very much! i plan joining next year i didnt the first two years bc its dumbass guy who think a girl cant play football and i've showed them wrong in PE that were doing now is football and i can play better then mainly all of them and which about 5 of the varsity football players lost to me and three other girls and two guys and no they didnt go easy on us they put all there effort into it but yet still lost btw OUR FOOTBALL TEAM SUCKS

also, the turf is multi-purpose. the band and any sports team could use it. P.E could use it as well, with no worry or tearing it up. and, its alot more safe than what our pitiful field looks like now. softer, and with no worries of twisting an ankle in loose dirt. now back to the comment about the football team, you can't say anything about us until you see how this sport really is. if you also have no school spirit, then you shouldn't worry about this at all.
