I have been working to get some of my music up on youtube but I am having trouble figuring out the best setup. I have a home studio and I am using Cubase but i am not sure how to record video with the audio through my system, for better sound quality. How are you set up to get the condenser through the video? Do you have a camera with separate audio inputs?

@JamesSimmonsTunes I record the audio through cubase as well and then later on I sync that up with the video from the camera. I use windows moviemaker, which is a pretty basic program...not the best...but it works

Are you recording witha regular camera? If so, how did you make the video and the recording of the song go together into a video?

@leeyams93 I'm recording with a sony hand held camera. I record the song with a computer program called Nuendo (or cubase) then I match that audio up with the video using windows movie maker.

On second listen Chad; I have to say even though I Loved it before but would've liked to hear more forte dynamic in my own opinion, I think you gave it in your style. I heard accents, rise and fall, a climax, and you stayed true to YOU and Your style. Its extremely important to know your style and how you deliver best. I hear record companys LOVE it when you are a distinct sound, due to knowing how to market u. I think you brought in something different, and I'm glad you sang it the way you did

@abolocks Thank you very much. I really appreciate that, but I also know exactly what you mean when you say you wish there was that explosion of emotion. James Morrison does it so well during the bridge of this song. The fact is, I had trouble finding a good vocal register to sing this song from. If I went for that crazy emotional explosion than I would have had to sacrifice other parts of the song by singing them either too low or strained.

Chad I really hope I didn't come off as if I didn't think it was great; truth is I thought after later listens that it was actually my preferred version (I DO LOVE James M. though and wish I had HIS voice). You switched it up to meet your style, which is the sign of a TRUE artist. I don't see Mick Jagger trying to sing like Boys 2 Men, and I don't see Boys 2 Men trying to sing like. Overall, I'm not a critic but I get it now and thought it was brilliant

@abolocks so I found a range where I could sing the entire song well without going too high or too low.....consistency is the word for this performance. It's a tricky song to nail. Props to James Morrison for being able it be so vocally dynamic in it.

Chad your voice is once again amazing; very radio friendly and this was ABSOLUTELY well sung, and I felt a chilled arousal of true emotion. That said; I was kinda hoping you'd give this Particular song a lot more pain and anguish due to the depth of the lyrics. I Felt it in a intimate manner (Something that not many artist can give when singing softly so Great job btw!) but I was hoping for that EXPLOSION, to the point of almost tears. Regardless this was a joy to hear and I think you'll go FAR
