I drove one from NYC to Florida and it was a walk in the park. It feels like you inside a plane its smooth like silk. Love it. I also drove a 2010 Toyota minivan. Dodge Caravan is way better made.
Our '09 sxt with 12,000 miles has had zero issues. The 4.0 sounds even better than the video. Only thing I don't like is the "Interior by Rubbermaid" . Our Yellowstone and Glacier trip, never got less than 19mpg, mountains and 80mph+ interstates. Quite, even when passing at 100 mph, wife didn't notice! Not feature wise! but mechanically definitely they are, my parents have owned quite a few of them, first one was an 84 model four cylinder stick shift, fairly reliable, and then an 87 that was troublesome it had an automatic and a V6, and the last one was a 96 with a V6 automatic, that was the worst of them all.
What I found was that all the Chryslers are family has ever had with stick shifters were EXTREMELY reliable and the ones with automatics were cars from HELL!
The key system in those vans don't like me. When I was sitting in my cousin's Grand Caravan I was playing with the endless amount of gadgets, and then I went to get out of the car the doors were locked when I opened it and the alarm instantly started! and pressing every button on the key! it wouldn't stop! it went on for about two minutes which seemed like forever! I was already planning which way to run!
