He'll always be one of the great current gen SF players, specifically 3rd strike, I never saw anyone at the arcades who could parry like that Im not saying people arent that good but it's damn rare. But he isnt a god, he got perfected at evo by Poongko just like Jwong did by PR Balrog, staying ontop is harder than getting there only to fall off.

It can be irritating, but that kind of defense isn't unbreakable and it's really more of a psych out. Projectiles are the easiest means to get a reaction, and the only way to improve is to keep playing ppl like that. I dont do it, but a few qcf moves is a good way to throw someone off their game or into it.
The fact that you stayed on "Your A game" happens to everyone really. Online I don't try as hard as tournament and the atmosphere definitely has to do with that.

daigo is on another level and the kid doesn't leave the ground for anything when I see his fights it's like he so unpredictable but I relize that once you know your character well it isn't about knowing what you can do but what other characters can do and how you can catch them with certain moves like I found out that even though dee jay slides when he does a down high kick that sagat can still catch him with his ultr combo and also if you can link combos well also low hits can go a long way

Take it for what it was, a great time playing against a great player. YOU TOOK THAT ROUND!! GET THAT SANDBAGGING SHIT OUT OF HERE. Don't ever let anyone tell you other wise. Early morning has nothing to do with it, Daigo plays that game 24/7 he's ALWAYS warmed up. Now I do agree however that when he plays for money he turns it up, A LOT. SFIV is more about messing with your opponents head and baiting out moves that you can counter. SFIII is more about rushing your opponent and getting them in massive super combos I.E. yun's "V-ism" or kens pokes into super. Now relax when i say this but its more like Blaz Blue (yes i know SFIII came out first) where you pressure the opponent to death

@dss103 Sorry but I highly disagree that SF3 is more like Blazblue. Now maybe SF Alpha is but honestly Blazblue is so out there its more like the VS series then anything. The way you explain SF3 is much more relevant is SF Alpha 2 where pressuring your opponent to death was the style. Now maybe SF4 is more about messing with peeps heads but thats simply cuz of how slow it is, there was no real room for aggression tbh. However I do agree SF3 is more aggressive in it's spirit than SF4 though.

And that in itself is made to cut out the thinking process and the execution process alone.....huge reversal windows, autocorrected movements and input shortcuts....sf4 is a joke of a fighting game.
