if you haven traveled. its like you dropped-out of grade school, but think you have a PH.D. (cruse ships, military and missionary , bases don't really count as your still insulated by imported u.s. culture) I've found the rest of the world does, and thinks about allot of things very differently than u.s. and it works out fine. Ours is not the Only way. ( thankfully because "our shits all fucked up...."
He's really great to me, because he's a member of NORML's advisory board. He himself doesn't even advocate smoking, but he supports legalization completely, because he believes it should be one's own business.
I watched a PBS show about Rick, his crew and making of his show, "Rick Steve's Europe". Waht an effecient, creative trio - no cue cards or teleprompter. Rick memorizes the ever changing script and delivers beautifully.
What does that say about "short-term memory loss"?
Well, I've never touched the stuff and I don't plan on ever touching the stuff (legal or not), but I agree that it should be legal. The current state of the law regarding the subject is rather impractical.
Had a highschool teacher that stressed to travel to Europe as the first major step to set your sights on after highschool. He'd say start saving your money now and don't put it on hold, you got to do it before settling into a job or college. Asked why, he said because the rest of the world is not like this, and you won't understand it unless you really see it.
he was right. i was fortunate enough to travel threw a few countries and cities in europe. ireland being my favorite. the irish way of life is completely different than the american culture.
