The thing that made Guild Wars so special, is simply the players themselves. You will never find any community like Guid Wars in any other game, where everyone talks to each other and has fun with each other, helps each other of their own free will, etc. This is simply the best game ever!

Well that's when the game really starts. The PvP is really to jump into but there's plenty to do in PvE too like dungeon raids, armour and weapon collecting, title hunting, completing the storylines of all four installments etc. etc.

Yeah, you've said it, everytime I think about all the times I've spend playing this game, doing this and that mission, winning Hall of Heroes, playing this and that build, making friends, farming UW, etc I just get a nostalgic feeling too, it's weird, you wish that feeling stays forever and you wish that you can relive those days. :)

Same here. I think it's because the original game was difficult and you needed good teamwork, a good guild and lots of effort to get things done. I made lots of great friends there back in 2005/06. When Nightfall hit and introduced heroes, suddenly everyone could solo. People usually don't play together unless they have to. After that the game turned from an awesome co-op adventure to a solo grind, it lost its soul. Still fun to play but nothing like the old days.

Yeah it sucks that they cancelled Utopia but it wasn't EotN instead. It was cancelled to make way for Guild Wars 2 which I think is a fair trade. Who know's maybe they'll release it in the future to keep things fresh for Guild Wars 1.

Prophecies (Not profecies) is actually the hardest of the three in terms of leveling. Its also the best IMO, but everyone has there own opinions :) At least you PLAY the game, unlike some GW hater's who've never played :/
