true the plastic suit won't actually help drop weight, fighters usually just do that sort of thing to drop excess water weight right before a fight so they can make weight during the weigh in. the suit just makes you sweat a lot and in some cases, sweating more can help lose weight because when you work out at first you only lose water weight but if you have a suit or a sweatshirt or something that can take you from losing water weight to burning fat quicker.
