  • I like her.... I think it's about time I stumble across a real woman coming on the internet saying truths about what we as females need to change that will make us better women. Basically the lessons are speaking to me that we need to respect ourselves more, better, or even to begin doing so. Once you respect yourself there are just certain things you will not do or except from other toward you. I love it and I will be checking out more. It's always nice to build yourself up inside.

  • I also know a woman who made this mistake and still does and she lost her BF/husband twice. U really need to choose who u be close with.

  • Hello Sista, im totally agree with you on this topic. I think when you let your biz all out in the street, you dont get respect. I like to keep my biz to myself and still be sociable.

  • What if sharing with your friends is your healing release? Discretion is one thing, but what about being supported or encouraged by your friends? Isn't life something to share and grow from? After listening to your extreme examples, I realized you were suggesting setting limits.

  • "do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing" Matthew 6:3

now this quote refers to how believers should give to the poor in private, but it applies to many other areas of life as well.

  • I think its a cry out for help sometimes. My mom told me some lady she didnt know came to her and ended up telling her all of her business. I think its because a lot of women have a need to have someone listen to them and its a search for counseling really and some help about issues they are having problems with.

  • Sorry but i don't undrestand how does telling your buisness relate with you beeing a woman?

  • Keep up the good work and may God keep blessing you and yours.

  • I must subscribe!!

I've heard BW especially, talk about their screwin skills, trash women they cant stand (they probably dont even know why)

Its the worse thing about that girl bonding thing..we dont know when to shut up!!!

Then we dont know why our men r ticked off when all our girlfriends know he had the clap or all kinds of crazy stuff..STOP..There is a difference between a girl and a woman...

    Good one golden lady.

  • "truth 2 Power" 5*

  • I aint gonna lie this lady at my job always boast about her sexual prowess. I tell her to keep that shit in the bedroom.

  • You are soooooooooooooo right!

  • Shit, I like the ones that don't boast about their sexual prowess because when u get with them ur in for a surprise (in a good way)...lol

  • AMEN AMEN AMEN AMEN

I agree with everything you've said.

Another reason why women shout stop telling there business is because sometimes people DON'T WANT TO KNOW. I hate hearing information that that I didn't want to hear but because the person worked near me and was speaking loudly I heard things I didn't want to hear.

  • a) I don't want to know about a woman's relationship issues or her activities in teh bedroom

    b) I don't want to hear about a woman's... err... "feminine" issues.

    c) I don't need know that a woman needs to take a piss.

I just wish more women were more graceful about what they discussed, to whom they discussed it, and how loudly they discuss the topic... keeping in mind that not everyone wants to hear about whatever's going on in her life.

    great vid, RT

  • "Truth 2 Power" From a mans mouth to a womans mind! Thank You brother!

  • AHHH!! Yes but you see, this is the new feminism. Women want the same rights as men to be disgusting, and crass, loud, and low class.... Lol =\ No one wants to hear about your bullshit life, your lousy kids, or how you have to strip to pay the bills... (unless they are CLOSE FRIENDS)... Hickeys, never mind, one time , girl gave me a ring of hickeys AROUND my neck..... Great video!

  • that was fresh, i loved it.

  • This falls under what I would call cultural privacy. No one in their right minds needs to know our business. We need to really understand what is acceptable for public awareness sort to speak, versus private concerns. I had learn this lesson well and effectively.

I'm ever glad you presented this video to us as a whole, because lord do we need to hear this message. Peace and Respect.

  • This is soo true! I feel this, I'm going to be more aware of this. I think another part of this should be people putting their business on myspace, facebook, etc.

  • Amen, discussing every feeling and emotion; its just not safe!

  • AMEN.... and on YT a well

That's why I don't write anything about myself on myspace or YT

  • Very good points. Black people are a very "SHARING" people, and we like to share everything. The problem is, in this society, you shouldn't be sharing everything all the time. Like you said, telling all your business about your children, sex life, personal life, etc. you put yourself at risk.

These are good survival skills you're speaking on. I know a lot of sisters who RUINED themselves by talking too damn much.

  • Thank You brother, you are sooo right and I failed to mention this important point in the video, so thank you for stating it here!

  • tell that...

  • People should never tell all their business to strangers. And when it comes to people they know like friends and even family, sometimes it's good to be careful of who we tell what. You're so right. People sometimes will twist what we say against us when they get mad, so you can never really trust too many people because even those you think should love you will use stuff against you. You're giving wonderful advice.

  • Well Said, Thank You sis!

  • Another reason why a person shouldn't tell their business is because when u get someone angry they spill the beans on u. u know what i mean?

  • I can't tell you how may "conversation" I have been privy too, riding the subway. Man the things that come out of these people's mouths are ridiculous.

This young boy, maybe about 16 yrs old, was talking about how he performed fallatio on a young lady. *gag* Yea I didn't even need to here that and it can get even worse. Shut ya mouth keep it to yourself in public.

  • great video...the thongs...omg lol u r so right

  • The cell phone conversation's in the stores that rest of us don't need to hear! Please tone it down ladies!

  • Oh and those chirp phones, were everything is on loud speaker! Please Ladies!

  • Ooooh lawd, You know you done swooped alot of us up in this net! In here telling our business! lol But you're right! We need to be ever watchful and conscious of the information we put out. I have a friend who's up and down the community telling all her stuff. But what most don't know is, she likes to tell the truth in reverse. Got people fighting her family for her, shaking their heads at her, and telling her business to those she forgot to tell. smh... Another hot topic Sis! Thank you!

  • Thank you and that is the nonsense I am speaking about!

  • damn girl ur absoloutly correct on wot u say..very intelligent lady..u also looked in a very good mood in this vid lol..great job

  • Thanks Babe, different subject different emotions!

  • *waves my MLK fan* Well!

    That's real talk!

  • People don't know how invaluable this info is Rani!!

    "YOU DON'T KNOW ME!" LOL!

    Awesome vid!

  • LOL

  • nice video Sister. loved it!!

  • great vid Sis!!!

  • Whew, so very true, Sis! It's wise to keep our personal business to ourselves, esp. when it comes to relationships with men. This can have some serious repercussions such as the ones you've mentioned! Powerful message!
