  • @nakayle I think it's quite correct. When a bucket of water leaks you don't say the air leaked in, you say the water leaked out. Don't you think?

  • @widecast Poor analogy. Water is tangible- if leaks out you can put it in a bottle and keep it. Vacuum not tangible- it's a lack something- it's "nothing". You can't put "nothing" in bottle- so how can "nothing" "leak out"?

    The largest tube I own is an RCA 891-R out of the modulator of an RCA 5-D circa 1930's

  • Had good luck with freelend in FM's and plate mod AM. Linear service forget it junk, linearity stinks, efficency stinks, filament problems after bake in. Save your money buy a new one from Eimac, Econco has gone to hell since Manny left they still have the blessing of CPI even tho nothing but crap has rolled out the door since last year.
