Sorry, firsttobethelast, but that's Rabbit in the Moon, and this cover is available on the DM tribute album For the Masses: An Album of Depeche Mode Songs. As far as I can tell, Portishead has never covered DM, although I'm happy to be proved wrong. That sounds nothing like Beth Gibbons.
maybe portishead was a producer or contributor, but this is in fact RABBIT IN THE MOON.

Um, no. No it's not. Rabbit in the moon is a DJ love. This is DEFINITELY Portishead. I am a huge fan and it is on a Depeche Tribute album. :)
